I don’t know if there has been any buzz about “Sound of Freedom” but I’ve finally seen it and it’s an awesome movie. The fact that it’s kicking “The dial of desperation” ass is just a bonus.
The movie doesn’t have a hundred million dollar marketing budget so they are relying on word of mouth. And something unique, “Pay it Forward”. Go to their site and either claim or purchase a ticket. You can buy a ticket for someone else to claim and go see the movie, or you can claim a ticket that someone else bought. I bought two free tickets, go claim them and be enlightened.

This is really a time I wish Gerard was still among us, to comment about “Sound of Freedom”. I have read a variety of responses to it. I saw it July 5th with my wife. I thought it was very good and addresses something that needs to be brought to light.
Some have said it was “hard to watch”, etc. There were a couple of scenes that were almost heartbreakingly sad, but nothing graphic or awful. There is some edge of your seat tension and drama, as you don’t quite know how it will turn out.
Going to see it, and paying for it (or …Pay It Forward) sends its own message to those who…well, let’s just say they are on the other side. It is a movie well worth seeing.
Fox Studios made the movie, and then when Disney bought Fox, they pretty much buried it. Angel Studios fought with them to get the rights, and then had to battle to get it distributed. There are a few things in the movie that are “fictional”, but the thrust of the movie is basically true.

Shannon and me are gonna sit on the porch this afternoon and each of us will have a BIG bowl of vanilla! She’ll have it all over her chin when she’d done so I’ll throw her into the pool to “warsh” it off.
I don’t actually throw her in.
I throw a cookie in and she’s on it like steenk on a monkey.
The pool bottom is white and the water is so clear that under high sunlight she looks like she’s hovering in mid air.
