Noted in Passing: The Tardocracy and Their Digital Virus by Moldbug

We do live in a highly dangerous environment of contagion. Yet it isn’t viral contagion, it’s from neurons. In an Internet-connected digital world, the real pandemics that sweep the world are mental rather than physical illnesses, and we have built no defence against them.

The 18th and 19th centuries saw unprecedented technological and social advances in conquering physical illness. Now that we stand almost invulnerable, it is like we are willingly subjecting ourselves to our one true weakness: mass psychosis.

2020/21 has been a historical pandemic. Not of COVID – a mild virus no stronger than the flu – but of weakness and hysteria which has no known quarantine zone and passes from NY to Beijing as easily as the medieval plague. The future is a boundless ground zero of mental illness.

Who flourishes in such environments? The mentally weak. If you’ve ever interacted with Downs Syndromes you will know their dull Mongoloid rule adherence. We live in a world where mongs in high-viz jackets and “I’M VACCINATED!” stickers rule over the non-chromosomal challenged.

Our current rulers. Mentally retarded epsilons who can barely even articulate “CAN I SEE YOUR VACCINATION PASS PLEASE DURRRR” and who by design cannot see beyond a narrow set of mong processes. Tardocracy. Your yellow-jacketed high-visibility masters. Fuck this gay earth.

Every fucking shop, stadium, and restaurant has a plethora of these intellectually crippled shoggoths posted on the gate, blocking your entry with their fucking lanyard and their fucking high-visibility jacket, stealing 1-2k a month just to mumble warnings about fucking masks.

The useless, the stupid, the genuinely cunting retarded, are promoted to an undeserved station where they have a whipping hand over those with the correct number of 46 chromosomes. Bring your tanks to Kiev, Putin, let’s fucking end this piss earth 2022 with fire and nukes. G’night.

Jesus, look at my own degradation in how I wrote that thread in 2019 compared to how I am writing now. I was lucid and erudite. Now I am just angry, typing expletives, and rather than argue what is wrong with the world I just want to now see it on fire. I am part of the decline.

There is a real danger of becoming part of the decline, for the reasons articulated by Mencius, and which I fully appreciate. I also appreciate the idea of burning it all down, as most of the institutions which previously supported Western Civilization are now employed in killing Western Civilization.

The only disease floating around is Stockholm Syndrome. Brain-donors love believing and obeying their captors. Nancy let it rip a couple of days ago regarding how brilliant the Ukraine strategy is… totally a win-win solution to dispel doubt for the Democrat failure for everything. Brief read… https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/pelosi-just-gave-game-away-over-ukraine

What wasn’t a brief read is Robert Kennedy’s “The Real Anthony Fauci” which was the most difficult book I’ve ever read. Kennedy threw in the sink, the garbage disposal, all of the plumbing and even the kitchen cabinetry to deliver the verdict… a capable prosecutor must convict Fauci & Gates and these bastards deserve the death penalty. It’s an amazing mountain of research but you can’t blame Kennedy for his voluminous laser focus. They killed his dad, his uncle, his cousin, and they would love to kill him, too. Did I mention they want to kill us?? Let’s be first up to bat.

“Nancy let it rip a couple of days ago regarding how brilliant the Ukraine strategy is… totally a win-win solution to dispel doubt for the Democrat failure for everything. ”

I mentioned this just yesterday over here: https://americandigest.org/strange-daze-hey-kids-what-time-is-it/#comments , when on the Sun morning political shows I saw Blinken and Sullivan each say similar things. They fabricated the entire Ukraine scenario from beginning to end.
      “ghostsniper February 15, 2022, 2:59 PM
Casey, your gullibility factor on this russia thing is breath taking.
I recently watched with my own eyeballs xidens top 2 dawgz talk about how russias upcoming black swan would play out. The criminality of the US gov’t is beyond estimation. How in the world do you not see this?”

This is stuff young children do and they are always caught at it, but when grown criminal adults use the exact same tactic other grown adults fall all over themselves clambering for some attention.

There is no reasoning behind any of this nonsense but there it is bigger’n Stuttgart, unless you take the word of Vox Day and others that this is purely the work of the prince of darkness, Satan. If this stuff keeps on I may end up with no choice but to become a “believer”.

    • Teresa Pittman February 16, 2022, 11:31 AM

I guess I’ll have to try again to read the Kennedy book. But the anti-Trump stuff at the beginning was a turn off. it gets old.

      • Mike Austin February 16, 2022, 12:20 PM

As soon as some writer or pundit goes anti-Trump, I reach for my revolver.

once again I repost my comment from months ago:
I was talking to my 75 year old neighbor the other day when the subject of Dr. Fauci came up somehow.
She grew up in Brooklyn, near 13th Ave and 83rd Street in Dyker Heights, which is the next neighborhood over from here. She said that Dr Fauci’s father owned a pharmacy on that corner, so everyone in that area knew the Fauci family. Way back then everyone pronounced it the real Italian way, Fow-ooochi, not the americanized “Fowchi”.
She remembered when she was 13 years old, which would have been 1959 or ’60, the young Mr Fauci (who would have been about 18) had just gotten his driver’s license and a car, and would often be seen driving around the neighborhood. One day he ran over a dog, severely injuring it; when the police came, they had to shoot it to put it down. Reckless driving & indifference to the suffering of an animal.

      • Mike Austin February 16, 2022, 6:22 PM

The way a man treats an animal is the way a man treats other men. Animals were created before us; thus they have known God longer. Animals were the first creatures to recognize the child born in Bethlehem. Cruelty to beasts is cruelty to God. If that syphilitic dwarf Fauci dare hurt a dog in my presence, it will be his last day on earth. And his first day in Hell.

    • Tom Hyland February 16, 2022, 9:48 PM

Okay… arrest Fauci… try him ONLY for what he did to the beagles. Then hang him. A bullet to the head is too forgiving. https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2022/02/16/report-beagles-killed-in-nih-funded-experiment-named-after-celebrities-tv-characters/

The same goons who are worshiped at the Church of Stockholm Syndrome are saying it’s too dangerous to ease the “pandemic” restrictions because the anxiety of the lockdowns are in no measure comparable to the stress of being free again. Best to stay in permanent masked and boosted hell than to wander about freely. https://tinyurl.com/yuprdjrm

Proof masks cause irreversible brain damage when mixed with college attendance.

Same institution the burr headed half breed, buggar-ball quarter back attended.

      • Mike Austin February 16, 2022, 6:53 PM

Slaves got to slave. It’s their natural state of being. Aristotle was right, some men are born “natural slaves”.

        • steveaz February 17, 2022, 6:24 AM

Yup. Our fates lie in our genes, not in the stars.

State educators’ focus on group-learning, tribalism and inter-group differences stifles the prospects of those individuals whose unique inheritances might grant them an exit from these ersatz “groups.”

So the bright and the ambitious and the attractive and the sober stand condemned to rot in place inside brightly lit hospitals, beside their mediocre ward-mates and their over-earnest wardens. Diamonds melting, lost to us and themselves, in the occluded, dirty wax, forever…

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve entertained similar thoughts pertaining to a quick, merciful end to this mass insanity. Prior to the Wuhan “new-normal” (a term I hate beyond words), I had always enjoyed the 1956 sci-fi classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers, I never thought I’d be living it.
Being retired and happy to be ensconced in my bunker, I’ve been spared a considerable amount of everyday contact with people. Therefore, I’ve only been approached on several occasions (females, exclusively) by some pathetic busybody, admonishing me about wearing a mask. It was simple enough to merely ignore them.
Albert Einstein nailed it when he stated, “Three great forces rule the world: stupidity, fear and greed.” Well, we’ve certainly seen the first two in spades. Unfortunately, just as the poor will always be with us, so too, will the psychologically infirm. For many, perhaps most of them, these miserable past two years have given meaning to their empty, inconsequential lives. The plandemic has been their “Moon Shot”, or their “storming the beaches of Normandy.” Couple that with a bunch of would be tin-pot dictator government officials getting their inner Stalin on…well, I have little confidence the fear-driven will ever leave us Normals alone.
Perhaps, I’ll be wrong. I truly hope I will be.

  • ghostsniper February 16, 2022, 8:23 AM

There’s nothing wrong with anyone in this world that a good ass beating won’t solve.
Funny, idn’t it, that the intellecto’s invent this thing called ADHD and suddenly everybody claims to have it, like it’s a status symbol or sumfink. Well duh. When I was a kid of the 50’s and 60’s I behaved like a little asshole at times too, but then my dad came home and took off his belt and I was back to normal lickety split.

Today, however, beating bad behaving kids asses is considered wrong because it will mess up their brains or something and they will grow up and beat their own kids, so they invent drug cocktails to reduce them to ticking timebombs. Look around. Their heads are messed up anyway, so may as well break out the ass beating kits (wide and thick black leather belt) and get busy fixing the future planet. Nothing creates good behavior like the memory of that last ass beating and the constant threat of another.

Next time you see a person of any age acting like an errant child step right up and do your part for preserving the planet and it’s host. Reach right out and touch that child no matter it’s age in such a way that behaving bad will be the last thing on it’s mind. The sound of a stout leather belt being quickly yanked from the belt loop serves as a bomb shelter warning siren that you might be next. Duck and cover!

    • FLSTF February 16, 2022, 10:41 AM

Sniper, I agree with you on the validity and effectiveness of a good ‘whuppin’ when due. It’s far from being a “cure-all,” though.

However, even a mere spanking given to an (otherwise uncontrollable) child has somehow been turned into some kind of horrific act of violence- by libtards, lawyers, and society.
Felony charges, jail time, and loss of rights can be the result.
Even worse- nowadays unruly kids know that and abuse it. Then they become Antifas and BLM’ers later in life, knowing the libtards will not only refuse to prosecute them, they will cheer them on.

      • Lance de Boyle February 16, 2022, 3:08 PM

I had a female colleague, about 70 years old, 5′ 3″, French, old school, who occasionally slapped someone across the mazzard following an offensive (that is, stupid; that is, leftist) remark.

Advocated same for kids. Adds surprise, humiliation, and total dominance to pain.

The store I used to shop at had the cops ticket two women for daring to go shopping maskless. The fibers irritate my damaged lungs and I can’t wear them. So two years of house arrest. I am glad that my husband died in January of 2020. I was able to be with him at the hospital and have a wake for him, before things were locked down. I can’t imagine how awful it’s been for the kids.

  • James ONeil February 16, 2022, 12:08 PM

To mask, or not to mask–that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffocate. Neath the slings and arrows of outrageous mandates. Or to take off masks against a sea of Karens. And by opposing end them. To give up living to keep from dying–. No more–and wear not a mask to say we obey. The stupidity, and ignore the thousand natural immunities. That protect you.

Understand I’m not anti mask. I’d suggest never rob a bank without one nor skin dive deeper than 20 feet.

What type of degenerate mind vents their spleen by portraying a child with Downs Syndrome as Hitler? In what universe does anyone lend credence to an argument that equates the evil we have been subjected to, to having different numbers of chromosomes? As if children with Downs Syndrome chose to be born that way, chose to struggle with slower learning in life, speech impediments, heart problems, and daily discrimination by ignorant people like Moldbug. Hitler was all about killing off these children to make his nation racially pure. Moldbug will be happy to know that there are very few of these delightful children with Downs Syndrome anymore, because the majority of parents abort them. He has no chromosomal excuse to blame his ignorance on. I will leave Moldbug with the curse I have used throughout my career working with children and adults with special needs, which I reserve for those who revel in cruelty towards these lovely human beings. Most of those I have cursed have been school administrators who as a whole, generally hate all children: May he be schooled by God Almighty in the error of his ways by being afflicted by that which he mocks in those with special needs. May he learn first hand of their struggles, challenges, tears, and triumphs through loss of cognitive and physical abilities that he takes for granted.—and may he be fully aware of his loss. May he be tortured by ignorant people who view him as “not normal, less than, sub-human” and “irrelevant”.May he be humbled and enlightened through his debilitating struggles, so that he may repent of his cruelty and reform his actions and thoughts. We are all only one stroke, brain tumor, car accident, head trauma away from learning first hand about cognitive and physical loss. People like Moldbug mock special needs people, because deep in their souls they hate themselves. They fear that which they can’t comprehend. Why do we allow them to have a forum?

    • Mike Austin February 16, 2022, 2:22 PM

During my 27 years in the classroom I taught many “special needs” kids. Their great hearts and unconditional kindness put me to shame. I have also never seen one of their classmates treat them with anything but love. Here in Oklahoma City at a charter school where I taught, we had a cheerleader captain who was the leader of her pack. Of course every boy wanted to date her. She was a beautiful and smart young lady. When she saw a new student who was “special needs” she went into overdrive. The cheerleader made sure that the other child never ate alone and that she was invited to all the parties and dances and sleep-overs.

Jesus wept. I wept. I was surrounded by a greatness of soul in an 8th grade girl that I could never achieve.

        Gone. Just like that?
        My apologies good man.

    • Mike Austin February 16, 2022, 6:03 PM

There is something else. There is always something else. I get asked why God would put such on earth: the Down syndromed, the handicapped, the mentally challenged, the crippled, the blind, the deaf, the dumb. “If your God is so full of love, why would he create such beings? It seems your God hates them!”

Brothers and sisters, prepare yourselves for this: God indeed created them. He did so out of love. He loves them. If you doubt me, simply ask one of them. God made them the way they are for—us. Yes, for us. Without such deformed and crippled and deficient among us, we would relax into our usual comfort, arrogance, indifference and cruelty that we demonstrate everyday. They are here to bring us down to earth and to raise us to Heaven. By serving them we are serving God. Without them we would be Hell bound. They are here to guide us to Heaven.

Ok then, what of the crippled and the deaf and so on? Does not God care about their suffering? Yes. but He cares about their souls much more. These “special people” suffer in this world—obviously and of course. When they die, they are already Heaven bound. They suffer immensely on earth so that we could be saved for Eternity. They are Christ-like therefore.

Know this truth. They are here for you. Treat them as the special beings that they are. You will see them again, but in a way you could hardly imagine: full of life, healthy, vigorous, joyful.

Pray for them. For without them, you would be a monster.

    • tkdkerry February 16, 2022, 7:11 PM

Thank you Annie. I have been sitting here fuming about what Moldbug wrote, and wondering how I could express my dismay at finding it on a site that I have long respected. Your words have satisfied my need to speak, as you’ve done a far better job than I could have.

    • Richard G. February 17, 2022, 11:58 AM

I fear your eyes glazed over before you could comprehend Moldbug’s mea culpa:
“Jesus, look at my own degradation in how I wrote that thread in 2019 compared to how I am writing now. I was lucid and erudite. Now I am just angry, typing expletives, and rather than argue what is wrong with the world I just want to now see it on fire. I am part of the decline.”

I too work in the ‘special needs’ classroom. It takes patience and love, and reaffirms every day my self awareness that ‘There but for the grace of God go I’. Likewise, smart people doing and saying stupid things exist to illustrate that elitist narcissists abound and are a plague upon the earth with their lack of introspection and humility.

  • steveaz February 17, 2022, 6:46 AM

Guys, Moldbug was trolling you and you bit! Hook. Line. And sinker!

Look, this thing where we scold a speaker who is insulting a “type” of “group,” be it a racial, genetic or social group, on the grounds that someone in that group is ‘belittled’ or, worse, ‘assaulted,’ is ridiculous. First, the person who is supposed to be “insulted” by whatever was said is usually not even in the room, and so could not have heard it in the first place. This hollow fallacy is captured by the old question: If a tree falls in the woods, but there is no one there to hear it, did it make a noise?

And, second, it’s laughable to because this Maternal reflex is also the basis for the Left’s virtue-signaling to its captive Groups on college campuses, urban alleys and media confines. If we are ever to de-fuse the Left’s propaganda and rabble-rousing bombs, we need to first be aware when WE are planting them.

If I may wander into the verge, the thing about Trisomy-21 (Downs Syndrome) is (1) the mothers of T-21 children are often complicit in their child’s ailment (the disease is tied closely with pregnancies in women over the age of 35) which at least partially explains the immediate emotional, compensatory “Reeeeeee!” defense of this very small subset of American society. And (2) the state’s own education and health machines practice eugenics on this cohort. They advise young Trisomy-21 adults to avoid copulating specifically because the syndrome is debilitating and transmissible. This amounts to de facto sterilization in the end. An atrocity to which the same Mothers, always to quick to defend them against insult, never mount a defense.

Together, these two seemingly disparate facts may explain the odd discourse that erupts when a light gets shined on this Congenital patient sub-group. A mother’s tendency to point loudly at the Wolf might distract from her own malpractice. And the State, caught in another one of its own hypocrisies, might relish the distraction.

That begins to dissect the discursive reflex, but more work is needed, I think.

    • tkdkerry February 17, 2022, 7:35 AM

Bullshit. None of that addresses the lack of compassion shown by Moldbug, or that Down Syndrome sufferers are frequently coldly regarded as sub-human. I suspect he and you are cut from the same cloth.

      • Vanderleun February 17, 2022, 10:16 AM

I’m going with steve on this one, tkd. Outrage sparks on this level of reactiveness seem to me to be especially dimmed by the depth at which the sparks are initiated. We indeed need to stop the finger wagging scolding of “a speaker who is insulting a “type” of “group,” be it a racial, genetic or social group, on the grounds that someone in that group is ‘belittled’ or, worse, ‘assaulted,’ “. In this context the scolding comes off as mere white noise obscuring the signal. It is a tool of anti-truth and as such must be strictly eschewed.

        • tkdkerry February 18, 2022, 9:25 AM

I’m astonished. We criticize the outrage, but not the despicable presentation which provoked the outrage, because it’s somehow inappropriate to be outraged merely because a certain “type” or “group” is being disparaged. Apparently certain “types” or “groups” are appropriate for targeted disdain, which leads one to think that these “types” or “groups” are less worthy of respect or compassion. I can understand this approach when that “type” or “group” is defined by attributes which are under their control, and are consciously adopted. But when that “type” or “group” is defined by circumstances outside their control, e.g. Down Syndrome,
then the disdain and mockery is purely hateful. Moldbug was spewing hate, and supporting him makes a person suspect.

          • Vanderleun February 18, 2022, 12:20 PM

There would be a long and quite erudite response to that, but it’s Friday, and I weary of these popinjays that not only refuse to get the point but are incapable of getting it.

          • Annie Rose February 18, 2022, 12:59 PM

Thank you for your supportive comments Mike Austin, tkdterry, and others. For the haters, thank you for proving my point so eloquently. Vanderleun, if you believe in your heart that Moldbug should be supported, why remove his picture you posted of the boy with Downs Syndrome photoshopped as Hitler? Don’t “obscure your signal” lest you be accused of being a “finger wagging scold”. Put the picture back up so that everyone knows what you believe.

  • Nori February 17, 2022, 8:01 AM

You beat me to it,eloquent explanation, steveaz. I was going to say that no Down’s Children were harmed in this discussion,by words or satirical picture. Moldbug’s points are valid;he was not attacking Down’s kids. He was pointing out we are led by imbeciles who are blind drunk on the incredible power they now wield. Attacking him or those who agree with him is SOP for leftists to make us SHUT UP.
Back in the 80’s my husband worked as a clerk for one of the big grocery chains. There was a feel-good virtue-signaling push among top mgmt to hire the handicapped to bag groceries. Sandy was a Down’s young lady who liked to bag for my husband because he treated her gently and would joke with her. The Special Olympics came around and Sandy was a participant in the Jumping Jacks competition, and asked James if he would sponsor her at a dollar a jump. He readily agreed.
The Special day came ‘round, and when he came home from work, one look made me go “Uh-oh…”
He said “She did 140 jumping jacks! One hundred and forty jumping jacks! I had to pay $140 !!
    I mean,good for her,but jeeez!”
Sandy returned to work to much acclaim for all the money she had raised (many other employees had also sponsored her),and all was well until a couple of months later when customers began to complain to the manager about the nasty smell on the groceries she bagged. Turns out,Sandy had developed a fascination with her own fecal matter, and was playing with it in the toilet bowl on her break. She would then return to work, without washing her hands.
True story. I relate it not to denigrate nor mock Sandy, but to illustrate that some tasks, even simple ones, can be difficult for developmentally challenged persons, despite success in other simple challenges.
Moldbug’s take on our current state of affairs was thought provoking and enjoyable,as have been the comments on it.
One more thing:if the local and global Gauleiters continue this insanity (they will,on steroids) the weakest among us will be eliminated first. They’ve already started;we all know this. Dr Ezekiel Immanuel,Obama’s medical advisor, has long touted his “Complete Lives System” where he has decided that persons who reach age 50 should receive increasingly diminishing health care. He believes the more expensive and/or long term treatments should go to the younger, more important people. Many “progressive” healthcare workers are in complete agreement.

  • steveaz February 17, 2022, 8:02 AM

    I disagree.

Joe Rogan used the “n” word. And Donald Trump said “Mexican.” And Snoop Doggy Dog, who btw smokes weed, said “f_ggot.” And Moldbug said “mongoloid.” And steveaz once said “eugenics.” These are very different Cloths embroidered with identical Threads.

Do you s-e-e now? It cannot be more obvious.

The Left has adopted the method of Christian altruism as a tactic, because it works to influence people with high rates of altruism. Like yourself.

If, to defend against this tactical high-jacking of our, and your, empathic ‘high ground,’ you must adjust your own appeals, then know that it is correct, morally, to do so.

You may hate me for it. That is your right. But…

It’s possible to acknowledge that our discursive reflexes might spur unhealthy social mimics that, in turn, get used against us, without disowning the bedrock Christian ethic driving the reflex in the first place. To argue otherwise is to avoid adaptation in the ongoing meme wars. And to adopt a false binary and curl up with it be’nights.

    Moldbug, you’re a f_cking genius!

The Left has adopted the method of Christian altruism as a tactic, because it works to influence people with high rates of altruism.

The truth of that statement is so large that many individuals cannot see it. They are so blinded by their altruism they have lost the ability to comprehend that they have been sucked into a state of secular humanism, rather than Christian morality and ethics. Their alleged altruism is dragging them into supporting evil, and they do not understand. And this is not just a problem with those who align with the Left. Many on the Right are complicit.

There’s altruism and there’s virtue signaling.
One is more common then the other and both are often confused for each other.

True, Ghostsniper, and I’ll add that today, a good many individuals clamoring to claim the mantel of altruism are practicing the second, and relatively unknown, definition of altruism.

2: behavior by an animal that is not beneficial to or may be harmful to itself but that benefits others of their species

Both diehard altruists and virtue signalers are misguided.
