Nobody much talks about them any longer, but I used to get a kick out of the preppers, especially the ones who took to burying their choice of End-of-the-World weapons and ammo. My thought was: If your view of the future is so bad that you’ve decided to cache some weapons that you can dig up later, then why aren’t you taking action now? How bad does it have to get before you head to your cache, shovel in hand?
My view of the future is that things never turn out as well as you had hoped, nor as bad as you had feared. A hypothetical President Harris will continue to move the needle to the left, and that will be bad and not please me, but she won’t have enough political capital to do horrific, end-of-the-world damage. The biggest effect of a President Harris will be that the Deep State, who are the ones really in charge, will become further entrenched. A President Harris will prove to be as much of a puppet as President Biden is.

Yeah, all that burying of stuff, and bug-out locations seemed so goofy.
How do you protect the place if you ain’t there?
The day arrives, you make haste to your bug-out only to find someone got there before you….
18 years ago we moved to our “bug out” location and stayed.
My only regret is that we didn’t move farther from society.

At some point there may be a response like a genuine standing ovation. There will not need to be comprehensive coordination. Those who have had enough will respond en masse. What can we do right now other than vote so heavily in favor of Trump that all the cheating from the left will not matter?
Harris wants price controls on food. She claims price gouging. By who? Farmers, grocery stores or some unnamed big business conglomerate regime? Woman is stupid as a bag of hair. Not sure if I could listen to her insipid laughter for four years. If this country has no understanding of basic economics or history, and vote for price controls and other communist ideas then we slide further and further toward the point of no return. Leave the country? And go where? This is the last haven for freedom.

I know you are a talented guitar player. Therefore, on a bright note I will advise that last week I saw Joe Bonamassa and his band last week in Topeka. The 10 piece band played for almost two hours and 15 minutes. He ended the show with Mountain Time which left me a bit misty eyed. Anyone who does a UTUB search on Bonamassa Mountain Time will likely not be disappointed.

Well, I see the world didn’t come to an end while I was out and about traveling and off-line. Ohio River August weather was cool and comfortable – had to look at GPS to make sure I knew where I was.
I still doubt it will be Harris (or Trump) – but you know? What better slap in the face of actual Americans by the Ds – doesn’t matter who or what they put up – and what a way to let us know that the Ds will soon let us know what freedoms we can enjoy.
Face it. If Trump doesn’t win for whatever reason, it doesn’t matter who the D candidate is.
But all in all? No Civil War II, no revolution, maybe some short-lived but intense and localized whoop-dee-do but soon to settle into SSDD.
