Three of the five former Presidents of the United States have started a new non-governmental organization (NGO) with the explicit purpose of chartering flights to import illegal aliens into the United States.
As reported by Just The News, the NGO Miles4Migrants, founded by former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton, is teaming up with two other organizations, American Express Global Business Travel and Welcome.US, to expand upon a previous effort that focused solely on Afghan refugees following the disastrous withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan in 2021.
Welcome.US was originally launched for the purpose of bringing in at least 85,000 Afghan refugees, and also has ties to the far-left billionaire George Soros and his Open Society Foundation. The new coalition between Welcome.US, Miles4Migrants, and American Express Global Business Travel will seek to raise money to import illegals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Ukraine.
“Donations are needed to fund the flights for newcomers to travel to the United States,” the initiative’s webpage openly declares. “Those forced to flee often leave behind all but what they can carry, and the costs of international travel can be prohibitive. Welcome Connect Travel removes the cost of travel as a barrier for both sponsors in the United States and the displaced families they are supporting through humanitarian sponsorship.”
This new effort by the NGO is in addition to ongoing importation efforts by the Biden Administration, with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) chartering flights to bring illegals further into the interior of the United States.
The mass migration crisis has become one of the dominant political issues in the United States in the final stretch before the 2024 presidential election, with estimates now suggesting that at least five million illegals have come into the country since Biden took power. The uncontrolled flood of illegals, encouraged by Biden’s promises on the 2020 campaign trail of free, taxpayer-funded benefits and amnesty for all illegals, has led to a breakdown of the southern border, as well as a spread of crime, drug use, and homelessness in border communities.

        azlib,

If you live in AZ and cannot see with your own eyes, an ongoing invasion of the USA, you are either blind or delusional. I have many friends and business associates who either reside in, or have winter homes in AZ. They all have reported to either myself or my wife that AZ is no longer an actual US State, but essentially a possession of Mexico/China.

If the residents of a state will not defend their own border from invasion’s by disease infected hordes of human offal, you disserve what is transpiring.

I do not live in AZ. I could be wrong on my assessment but, I don’t believe I am wrong.

          =======

Terry, what exactly do you think he should do?

        • azlibertarian January 23, 2024, 10:22 AM

I do live in Arizona…in a suburb in the Phoenix area. I was fortunate to retire as a relatively wealthy man and live in nice house in a gated HOA community.

I say all that as a way of explaining that I live a fairly quiet, sheltered life and, no, I don’t see this “on-going invasion”….”every day, with my own eyes”. But that is not to say that I don’t fully understand that what you call an “invasion” isn’t happening. Honestly, 15 years ago I was seeing groups of obviously Mexican and Central-American men gathering every day at every Home Depot parking lot and at other certain corners in my city. I’m not seeing that any longer. They’re here, somewhere, but I can’t visibly find them like I used to.

I think that most of these illegal immigrants come here to escape their “shit-hole countries” (Credit: Trump) and find a better life for themselves, and for that, I don’t blame them. Should they immigrate legally? Of course they should. Are some of our states and cities accepting these illegal immigrants as legal? Yes, they are, and no, they shouldn’t. Is our current immigration system rational and sane? No, it is not.

But Ghost asks a good question: “What, exactly, do you think [I] should do” about this? Am I to take up arms? Against who, exactly? Should I join an even-informally organized group to act against these “illegal invaders” when our governments will not? Maybe there’s a point for that, but honestly, I don’t think that we’re there yet. For the time being, I vote (and yes, I acknowledge that I vote in Maricopa County and I fully understand what that means.) and keep my elected rep’s aware of my thoughts. Any other suggestions would be welcome.

          • Sheila January 23, 2024, 4:07 PM

az. jump in your car and drive down to Mexico with no id and tell them you want to move in. Do the same with Canada. Then ask for suggestions. ps. why is my name in red–do I have to comment more to get it in black?

            • ghostsniper January 23, 2024, 5:32 PM

After 10 comments your name will turn blue, then after 10 more it will turn magenta, then 10 more and it will be black. Or, you can drive down to Husongs Cantina in Ensenada and get me a Monterrey Fajita and 5 mins after you email it to me your name will be black and in all caps with exploding sparkles.

            • azlibertarian January 24, 2024, 9:11 PM

Before I retired, my work took me to Mexico maybe 6 times. But as for travel on my own, I don’t think that I’ve been to Mexico since the early 80’s. In fact, I’m pretty sure that I haven’t been south of Tucson since the early 80’s. I have zero interest in Mexico (not even their tequila or Corona beer) and almost none in Canada.

I spent my working life traveling the world and while some places have some merits, most places are average at best, and really suck after you’ve been there a while. This experience taught me that America really is the best place on earth and I do understand (without condoning) those who slip in here outside of our laws.

          • Terry January 24, 2024, 9:56 AM

az- “Any other suggestions would be welcome.”

If you and your friends / neighbors do not realize the disaster that is occurring on your southern border at this point in the planned take over of the USA, you have already surrendered. Your eyes are closed your ears are plugged.

When the food runs low and the hordes of invaders become hungry, your home and your neighbors homes will be free for the taking.

‘”Should I join an even-informally organized group to act against these “illegal invaders” when our governments will not? Maybe there’s a point for that, but honestly, I don’t think that we’re there yet.”‘

We are there. We are way past the point of danger. Danger knocked on the door, got no answer, opened the door and walked in.

If you do not have a local/neighborhood self defense co-operative you have already lost everything. The Sheriff and local or state cops are NOT on the side of liberty. (Recent personal experience). They are only pawns of the duds who sign their paychecks, i.e. Lahaina, HW.

Remember, power comes from the people. If the people (you) do not take the initiative, you will be enslaved. Study history and learn from the past.

As typed here before, I have seen with my own eyes the slaughter of people by their own government. The people were first disarmed and totally defenseless. Once disarmed . . .

            • azlibertarian January 24, 2024, 8:56 PM

Well, I guess me and my homies need to throw on our plate carriers and plates (I don’t have a plate carrier or plates) and our NODs (I don’t have NODs) and we can practice our maneuvers and such. You know….stack up. Maybe we should start digging a defensive trench network over by the Tot Lot…..I’m sure that the HOA wouldn’t mind.

              /sarc

I am well prepared here in my house (I dragged the family to a Stop The Bleed course only last week), and no, nothing from my, or my neighbors’ homes will be “free for the taking”. That said….Dude, you gotta lighten up. I don’t like the government ignoring our immigration laws anymore than you do, but the sun will rise tomorrow and if you allow yourself to get up on the right side of the bed, you can enjoy the day. I do it all the time.

          • Terry January 24, 2024, 1:50 PM

            And this:

“So far, nearly 100 Texas counties have issued disaster and invasion declarations, or both, citing the border crisis, The Center Square has exclusively reported.”

            https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/51st-texas-county-declares-invasion-southern-border

Why no similar action in AZ or NM? Could it be that the citizens of AZ & NM are asleep or Zombies?

I agree! There must be a total ‘cleansing’ or there is no USA.

  • Casey Klahn January 22, 2024, 10:20 AM

Joe, you said: “The mass migration crisis has become one of the dominant political issues in the United States in the final stretch before the 2024 presidential election”. I heard an estimate, I think, of double that 5 million number you report having entered under the watchful eye of Biden, et al.

You could not be more correct about this being the defining issue. This issue is the kill shot that will destroy the democrat(ic) presidential hopes for 2024. Yesterday, I tried to write a comment about how the Texas NG is effectively having a Fort Sumter moment right now at Eagle Pass, TX. I was really surprised when I listened to this next video, because I did not hear what I thought I would. The fugly, tight-assed lib being interviewed, the newsface woman, ends by saying that Trump’s win is almost inevitable. She expects it, and she goes on to say that Trump is the only hope for turning around the border crisis – and she is saying all this with a stick-up-her-ass liberal point of view. I recommend it be watched. She and the Brit interviewer also back up my theory on this event where I think that the national guard is essentially in a civil war stand-off with the federal government.

    Video here

This action by the Texas NG, backed up by Arkansas and Florida guardsmen, and maybe other states as well, is pushing the border crisis into the faces of every LibTard voter whose still watching news, and it provides the truth of the severity of the crisis, and is a huge compare and contrast between what Abbott is doing versus what Biden is doing. Day and night.

    • SK January 22, 2024, 10:51 AM

Thank you for the video link. The interview was very interesting and surprising. The interviewer and interviewee both awfully, unbearably smug, but to hear Ms Lionel Shriver say “the interests of the feds and Texas should be alligned in controlling the flow of illegal immigration into the United States” was quite stunning. I guess the immigrants who “all have a spark of divinity” must be messing up her neighborhood.

  • SK January 22, 2024, 10:35 AM

Anyone know what those little spikey things are around the bench? Flowers about to burst into bloom. Crocuses? Daffodils? Or maybe they are just seed heads of some grass. Hard to distinguish in the photo as is the season.

    • ghostsniper January 22, 2024, 5:31 PM

I can’t get a good look at them but they do seem to resemble entry level crocuses.

    • Richard G. January 23, 2024, 11:20 AM

My guess, based upon the biome (alpine woodlands), is emergent Arrowroot Balsamroot (Balsamorhiza sagittata), also called Oregon Sunflower.

That’s a good guess, arrowroot balsamroot. And it’s such an interesting, useful plant.

Such is the way for people that live by lying.

The White House has repeatedly dismissed concerns about Biden’s age, though polls show voters are concerned about it.
“Our perspective is that it’s not about age, it’s about the president’s experience,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Biden’s 81st birthday. “We have to judge him by what he’s done, not by his numbers.”

Something’s brewing, and it’s bigger than all of us.
Fracture my ass, it’s an all out implosion.

In order, you’re 4 most important things:

    1. Air
    2. Shelter
    3. Water
    4. Food

You must do everything that you can to shore up all of them.
Right now you have the opportunity to do so, but tomorrow you may not.

When the old world ends today, the bell may toll for some.
Nothing can change the shape of things to come.

It’s definitely an odd-appearing group. All slender military-age males, no middle-age fatties more typical of the local “militias” that spring up. They look like mostly northern European extraction. They keep showing up, they’re getting better at opsec, and the popos leave them alone. We haven’t seen any more of the John Browners or those guys down in Jacksonville (?). These guys don’t look like simple paid actors who would mill around aimlessly until somebody told them what to do.

Nobody’s gone undercover and trained with them, and reported in an expose. We don’t know where they train, where they meet, who their organizers are, how the financing works. They’ve got better shields now, better than the antifa’s cut up water barrels. They seem to use white and yellow hazard vests as group leaders. I saw one guy directing, but he was nondescript. The members hustle, that’s a heck of a signal right there, of people training, developing teamwork, and believing in … something. It has many of the behaviors of a cult. Antifa tries to obscure their organizers and event leaders, these guys do also. I’ll wager some of the other folks I saw filming are antifa checking out the competition. Their leaders must use more subtle insignia chosen day of, say a blue tape on a stick, like the undercover Feds do.

    Pipe Bombs ya say?
    =============
    Video at the link below.

Kudos to Darren J. Beattie of Revolver News and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) for doing the FBI’s work for the FBI, smoking out the role of law enforcement (including the FBI) in but one module of the J6 operation that turned a peaceful mass assembly of disgruntled voters into a riot in order to color it as an “insurrection” and so destroy opposition to the falsely-elected, tyrannically corrupt, and epically deranged regime fronted by the ghost-in-the-White House, “Joe Biden.”

Mr. Massie arranged to extract previously unseen video from the Capitol Police vaults showing the exceedingly strange behavior of various law-men in the minutes after one of their number reported a pipe-bomb beside a park bench, a few steps away from their parked vehicles, outside the DNC headquarters near the US Capitol building around one o’clock in the afternoon on J6/21, just around the time that a joint session of Congress would commence the entertainment of official complaints and objections to the certification of votes in the 2020 presidential election. Of course, that proceeding was disrupted by events outside and inside the US Capitol, and those many complaints and objections were never registered.

  • Casey Klahn January 23, 2024, 6:14 AM

Now I’m watching videos and reading articles where more pundits are describing the Eagle Pass showdown as a Fort Sumter moment, and the use of the phrase Civil War to describe what is happening in Texas between the federal government and the state. I certainly don’t want this to be the case, but this cup is squarely in front of the American citizen now.

I also have long wondered if the national guard would be a major player in a schism leading to conflict. I have flashbacks of reading the Riot Act through a bullhorn in my own NG training in the 70s and 80s.

The NG units in Washington State, which were more armored up than the regular army back in my day, would cross from Camp Murray, traversing an I-5 overpass that was a bit older in construction, to Ft Lewis to train. I would drive out of our tank park, cross the freeway, and spend 2 to 3 days driving APCs and dodging M-60 tanks in our convoys. I’d return to the NG base covered in dried mud, and with a thick coating of dirt in my teeth and ears.

The active army wanted the NG to move its tanks and tracks south of I-5 and locate permanently on Ft Lewis because of reasons including that old overpass, and even eventually put it in the form of a requirement or regulation. The WA NG told the army to fuck off. We liked our stately old camp on the shores of American Lake and near the beaches of Puget Sound. We liked our maintenance facility which was the equivalent, in most ways, to an army depot (regional) maintenance facility. Our vehicles and gear received first class kid glove treatment and we weren’t going to let the army tell us where to go or what to do.

That story sets the stage for the rebellion in Texas right now. The Texas NG, which is a rather large outfit, has booted the border patrol the fuck off of what was at some point the worst crossing point for illegals, and has begun to turn migrants around, and arrest most of those out of compliance with state laws. This is an armed Texas military, who look just like their active duty counterpart only far meaner and older and more mature, facing off against armed federalis who are severely under-manned and providing a permissive environment for illegals. Trump told illegals to stay home, and they did to a large extent versus now, when Biden has as much as invited the futher muckers.

Can DC just federalize the TX guard and move them under orders out of state? iirc, the governor has to sign authorization to release his troops to the army, and also they cannot even be requested while in the middle of active operations at the governors command. Keep in mind that the US Army cannot, by law, enforce laws within the US. The National Guard can, under the orders of the governor. If the Wyoming NG goes to Texas, under orders of the gov. of Wyoming, they can legally conduct law enforcement tasks, but if the feds mobilize the guard to go to the border, they in that case cannot enforce laws.

Just a fun fact: Putin just signed a document revoking the sale of Alaska. It sounds like a joke, and mostly is. But talk about your 2 front war! Alaska/Texas. It’s a great psychological move, but imagine the AK National Guard taking on Russian infantry. I can and I’ll put money down on the ng in that fight.

Back to reality (and a painful one at that). No one is going to begin shooting at the border. But, I’d be really surprised if Abbott backs down. The feds are now legal to cut the barded wire, but the law did not say that erecting the barriers was unlawful. The guard may erect any barrier it wants as it now stands, pending further litigation.

The Texas National Guard have been told to not guard the nation. It’s ironic. But, the TX NG are big, mean, much better armed than you think, and they have a chip on their shoulder. Remember DC when the ng protected Biden from some invisible and made up threat? They slept on concrete parking garage floors in the winter, and were fed expired food. That was Biden. 81 million votes Biden.

I’m watching the news all day every day. We might be watching it go down here in real time. Meanwhile, in election news, Trump sewed up the nomination in basically one caucus day (Iowa) and he did this in the face of a hostile GOPe. That, my friends, is some shit.

    • Joe Krill January 23, 2024, 7:18 AM

Casey, I highly recommend that you pick up a copy of Kurt Schlichter’s books starting with Peoples Republic (America has divided into two camps –you will not set this book down). Regarding Putin wanting Alaska back, if you read Ezekiel 38 and 39, (who is Gog and Magog?) ask yourself the following. What if the United States is the end times regathering of the Israelites? Could this prophecy pertain to us? Mind you I use the term “Israelites” as a reference to the long lost tribes of Israel–there were 12. The blessings bestowed upon them are tremendous and we must remember that much of what we call scripture has been mistranslated and deliberately perverted to keep the true recipients of the blessings in the fog–lost–that is why they are called the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. Our founding fathers knew who we were but the pablum pukers in the pulpits have done their best to destroy this knowledge. All prophesied. All intentionally hidden. If you want you should research the history of when Communism turned its sites on our seminaries and such in the 30’s and the “schools of higher learning” in the 50’s. Fascinating. Hold tight because we may just be in for a giant awakening. God Bless America.

      • Casey Klahn January 23, 2024, 10:18 AM

        Hi, Joe. My compliments.

While I was being a nasty guard soldier, I was also going to 4 year matriculated bible college. I don’t believe I did misinterpret the Bible, thanks.

There is an old, old, ancient sense of an army coming from the North, and the Bible prophecies about Megog mirror that, at one time, well known fear. The neighbors who piss upstream from your women; same kind of idea. You don’t have to be a lost tribe of Israel to culturally fear that Northern Horde. But, you do have to make sense of the days you’re in. Russia won’t be trying to capture Alaska whole, but if it ever did resort to some kinetic activities there, it would want a big fifth column to broker a surrender there. It’s just too big. As it is, Russia mostly ignores its own Oriental East because: vastness.

BTW, it’s been only a handful of years (two or three?) since the army stood up an entire infantry division in Alaska, and giving it the flag of the WWII numbered 11th Division. It is a queer division (old meaning) inasmuch as it’s both an airborne division and an arctic division. There are specific military reasons why that’s a dog with feathers, but I’ll explain that some other time. Be that as it may, the military has force in AK and the Russians won’t be getting any free rides real soon up there.

Forget Kurt Schlichter; you may be watching the damn war unfolding right now in Texas and it’s critical to keep a clear eye.

    • ghostsniper January 23, 2024, 8:07 AM

Casey sed: “The Texas National Guard have been told to not guard the nation.”
      =========
      Fine.
      2 can play that game.
Barbwire and Concertina are Combat Engineer toys and they play with them all the time during “field exercises”.
Gather up some sappers and let them play all day long and night too, indefinitely – right on that dam border.
The first platoon lays the wire down and the next platoon is right behind them picking it up, then the next platoon is right behind them laying it down again, over and over. Good Training! Meanwhile all the grunt NG’s are pulling perimeter guard training on the whole border. Hell, I’d sign up for that! It’d be like a vacay, with skall crackin’ to boot! Sign me up coach!

      • Casey Klahn January 23, 2024, 10:34 AM

IDT the feds will be in that park in Eagle Pass, cutting up concertina wire. They’ll make a show of cutting up elsewhere, because the guard has constructed some extensive wire in other places. But, the ng has made the park in EP off limits to the feds. They can FO and eat shit there, but you can see it’s a game.

That’s a funny – the idea of putting it down, removing it, rinse and repeat. Unfortunately I think the cutting of the wire will just be eye wash for the feds to feel in control of something. “Look, Biden, we cut the wire!”

Most people will never understand that fortifications are not about blocking, but about channeling traffic. Those tricky bastards in the combat engineers have more shit up their sleeves than Carter’s got pills. If I laid concertina, and didn’t want it removed, I’d cat’s cradle it with expended TOW missile command link wire. That stuff is a bitch to clean up. Put some kind of applied goo on that, as well. Peanut butter, used crank case oil, honey, tar – you name it.

Nah, I’ll probably guard what the state guard leaves behind when they backfill for the national guard. (dirty joke but anyway…)

        • ghostsniper January 23, 2024, 11:25 AM

Now you’re talking about “cutting” the wire.
Careful there Hoss, that’s a crime and that crimes name is: Destruction of Military Property, and it’s against the law. Really. I know cause I was charged with it. Sometime I’ll tell you about the time I accidently blew up an army ambulance and was charged with DMP and got buted to E1 but it was suspended.

I was a gov’t employee (soldier) at the time and I involuntarily committed the crime with no intent. So if a gov’t employee did intend to commit the crime of DMP I imagine there would be consequences. The governor could slap chains on, and throw the whole lot in the cage. If biden went to the scene, and having compelled them to commit the crime, he could be dropped in that cage too.

Nikki Haley Recalls Her Daring Childhood Escape From Slavery On The Underground Railroad
    =================================================================

SEABROOK, NH — At a campaign stop in New Hampshire this weekend, Nikki Haley recounted a harrowing story from her youth about escaping slavery through the famed Underground Railroad.

“I remember it well,” Haley described. “Harriet Tubman herself showed up at our brown family’s small one-room log cabin and took me with her. It wasn’t easy being the only runaway of Indian descent, all the other kids got better food than I did, but we made it to freedom in New York and I’ll never forget that feeling.”

Haley told the crowd she will always be grateful to Tubman for rescuing her from slavery, and said it wasn’t easy growing up as the only brown slave on a plantation of only black slaves.

“When it came time for slave auctions, all the black kids got picked first,” Haley said. “Being the only brown girl meant I had to wait until the very end to see where I’d end up. When Harriet showed up and offered to take me to freedom on the Underground Railroad, I was so thankful but I also felt a little conspicuous as the only brown girl on the trip. It was hard.”

“Anyway, so that’s why you should vote for me.”

As of publishing time, the NFL had offered to let Haley sing the Black National Anthem at the Superbowl as a gesture of unity and healing.

I won’t say it has never happened before, but I cannot remember a time when three (3) Supreme Court Justices abstained from the same vote at the same time. The wanker
justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh said they would have denied the administration’s request to lift a lower court injunction that was blocking removal of the wire.

Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Amy Coney Barrett, Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor sided with the administration. Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas voted with Texas.

I have not been able to find a complete and accurate head count as to how each justice voted. Can you help clarify? Who abstained?

I am only a distant observer of the ins and outs of how things are done at the Supreme Court, but I found this order, published yesterday. From looking at that, it doesn’t appear to me that anyone “abstained”, but I admit that these things are sometimes less-than-clear to me.

The Supreme Court is now in violation of the highest law in the land.

Soon this stuff will be normal, just like it always was.
And along with it you’ll see deranged people getting their skalls cracked wide open right on the skreet.

Yeah, saturday morning and you’re headed to Ace hardware to pick up a few things for your weekend chores. Strolling from your ride to the store you see a misfit runnin’ it’s jibber and you yank your extendable baton out and crack it right across the yap then put it away and never break stride. In 6 months these retards will be rare, back in the cabinet they descended from, or dead.

UFC champ Sean Strickland went BALLISTIC on a “beta reporter” who asked him about the LGBTQ community

    Video here: https://twitter.com/i/status/1747955909395988513

This is UFC Middleweight Champion Sean Strickland. Sean has a blackbelt in telling journalists to get rekt, which he’ll demonstrate in this next clip. Here a fake sports journalist asks him about his previous comments on the LGBTQIA+ community, and Strickland comes with the full TKO.

Reporter: We’ve got a pretty supportive gay and lesbian community in this city. I did want to ask you about something you wrote a couple years ago. You said, “if I had a gay son…”

Strickland: Let me ask you something, are you gay? … are you a gay man? … if you had a son and he was gay you’d be like, oh man, you don’t want a grandkid?

    Reporter: No problem with it.

Strickland: Well dude, you’re a weak [forking] man, dude, you’re part of the [forking] problem … you’re just [forking] pathetic … you ask me some stupid [stuff] like that, go [fork] yourself … coward.

Here’s the thing about Bud Light: 10 years ago to be trans was a mental [forking] illness and now all of the sudden people like you have … weaseled your way into the world. You are an infection. You are the definition of weakness. Everything that is wrong with the world is because of [forking] you, and the best thing is the world’s not buying it … the world’s saying no, there are two genders …

    [points to reporter]

This guy is the [forking] enemy. You want to look at the enemy to our world, it’s that [mf] right there.

Bro, that “ally of the community” just got knocked all the way into next month!

We need more celebrities willing to speak their mind like Mr. Strickland here and stop hiding in the shadows (though maybe tone it down on the f-bombs).

Trump clobbers NH Nikki Haley in NH New Hampshire. And yet Nikkis votes, such as they are, are predominantly last minute, on the spot, party changers (democrats). Since we’re in a war between the states at present, I suggest that New Hampshire be booted from the Union for that fuckery. The rules were changed at the last minute to allow instant party changes. We’re not having it, and we aint amused.

In the event, Trump becomes the first GOPe challenger ever to win both Iowa and NH out of the blocks. I guess next caucus is SC, the home state of Nikki Haley. She’ll lose there (predicted by common newshounds) and yet she will still stay in the race. I think this because the GOPe and NH both thing that Trump may drop off the ballot due to any number of exigencies, which I will not list. You all know the possibilities. NH may be the longest loser face ever, and yet someone has to be on the ballot if and when the GOPe’s wet dreams of a certain ex president’s demise come to fruition.

Texas adding more wire today, kind of like Ghost predicted. Damn it feels good to be a gangsta.

I don’t know why Abbott doesn’t pull the trigger. The FedGov is in default of Article 4, Section 4 “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion;”.

    All three Branches are derelict:
The Legislature: which has the powers “To establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization” and to “lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to … provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States”, to “To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;” and “To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers”.
The Executive: “he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.”.
    The Courts:
“The Judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States …;– to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party; –to Controversies … between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects”.

We have immigration laws. The Legislature is allowing them to be ignored, the Executive and its Officers are not faithfully executing them, and the Courts refuse to hold government personnel to those laws. The FedGov is derelict in its sworn constitutional duties to protect the States against invasion. The FedGov has abdicated its duties, therefore its powers must be returned to the States.

Abbott should just declare it, tell the Feds to get out or they will be arrested, their powers are null and void, and tell the Federal Courts that they have no standing regarding the border and the treatment of the invaders and the acceptable methods of repelling the invasion, they have lost all jurisdiction because they too are derelict. To protect against invasions and repel invasions takes primacy over all immigration laws, and the Courts are unwilling to hold the Feds to that. So Federal Courts, you can get out also. Texas will repel the invaders as they best see fit, and the FedGov has no say in the matter until the invasion is repelled and the invaders are ousted. And then Texas should call up the state militia for duty. And shut that border tight.

He should send a letter to the Fraudulent and Homeland Security, the Senate and House leaders, the Senators and Representatives of Texas, and the spineless Roberts. He should declare that they have broken their oaths to the Constitution, they are derelict in their duties at the least, and treasonably so at the most, and from now on Texas will take care of the border because the FedGov is faithless and incompetent.

That’ll be the day. There’s no ways like the old ways.

Actually I do know why he doesn’t do it. It’s called Crossing the Rubicon. Some things once started can’t be undone. Once started, there’s no way out but through. It’d damn near require a Declaration containing a bill of particulars that’s at the level of the Declaration of 1776. The consequences of that took 5 years to sort out. And then was repeated in 1860 and took another 5 years.
    ==========
Ah, darn it. Now I’ve done it, I’ve written something that going to attract the attention of the glowies. Ok glowies, this is an essay regarding a hypothetical, I’m not advocating anybody do anything. And I’m cautioning them that if they do, there will be existential hell to pay. This is just an exercise of my weak and pitiful rhetoric skills.
