Save My Wood by Ron Jeremy

Bill De Blasio: NYC Beachgoers Will Be ‘Taken Right out of the Water’ De Blasio said that New York City will begin installing fencing along the city’s beaches and asked residents to avoid large gatherings, and playing sports. Lifeguards will also be prohibited from being on duty. “Anyone tries to get in the water, they’ll be taken right out of the water,” De Blasio said.

Ben Smith: “Resistance Journalism” Has Corrupted the Heart of the Media As long the targets of one’s conspiracy theories and attacks are regarded as villains by the guardians of mainstream liberal social media circles, journalists reap endless career rewards for publishing unvetted and unproven — even false — attacks on such people, while never suffering any negative consequences when their stories are exposed as shabby frauds.

Idiot bureaucrat sits and thinks “I have an idea. Therefore, given my authority, the idea is a good idea.” And then everybody suffers from the idea, which can’t be made to go away. If there’s one thing coronavirus did do with certainty, it increased global stupidity levels.

Colorado amends coronavirus death count – says fewer have died of COVID-19 than previously reported The change came after Colorado’s Department of Public Health admitted that its COVID-19 death toll was counting those who tested positive for the coronavirus but had died of other causes, Fox 31 Denver reported late Friday. The department now says 1,150 Coloradoans who died had COVID-19 but only 878 of those deaths were “due to” COVID-19.

I used to think they deliberately aided and abetted Iran and Red China but I am beginning to think that instead of being sellouts, Democrats are just plain stupid. Compared to the rest of them, Biden may be a genius. I mean, he got Red China to give his idiot son $1.5 billion. What did Hillary get out of Red China? Chelsea still is shilling children’s books while Hunter still has plenty of money for hookers and blow.

A University President Responds to Those Who Have Suggested the School Should Dip Into the Endowment  To be frank, I don’t even know how to dip into the endowment. At the end of every quarter, they blindfold me, take me to an undisclosed location which I suspect is the Chairman of the Board’s rumpus room, show me the quarterly returns, rough me up a little, then blindfold me again, and dump me on the lawn of my University-owned home. This is as close as I’ve ever gotten to the endowment, so good luck getting anywhere near that money.

The Left Is What It Once Loathed – Move Nancy Pelosi’s palazzo to sit on the border, subject Bill Gates to Bernie Sanders’s wealth tax and his envisioned 70 percent income tax rate, have Dianne Feinstein or Gavin Newsom live in an inner-city neighborhood or make NBA stars follow Chinese rules of collective bargaining and state-mandated compensation, or subject Samantha Power, Bruce Ohr, John Brennan, and Andrew McCabe to federal indictments, and Barack Obama to the sort of impeachment charade we witnessed months ago, and we would not have what is now the progressive party.

San Francisco Besieged by Homeless Demanding Free Hotel Rooms, Pot, and BoozeœPeople are coming from all over the place, Sacramento, Lake County, Bakersfield, Jeanine Nicholson, the first lesbian head of the San Francisco Fire Department, grumbled. ”People are getting released from jail in other counties and being told to go to San Francisco, where you will get a tent and then you will get housing.” The people coming to the City by the Bay weren’t wearing flowers in their hair, they were homeless junkies who had heard that they were going to get free hotel rooms, along with pot and booze. And it was all true. Every word of it. San Francisco was spending $200 a night to house the homeless, or as the current politically correct euphemism insisted that they be called, the “unhoused”, in hotel rooms at a cost of over $100 million.

NYT Critique of Ronan Farrow Describes Pathology of  “Resistance Journalism” Like so many other Russiagate obsessives who turned into social media and MSNBC/CNN #Resistance stars, Wheeler was living a wild, self-serving fantasy, a Cold War Tom Clancy suspense film that she invented in her head and then cast herself as the heroine: a crusading investigative dot-connecter uncovering dangerous, hidden conspiracies perpetrated by dangerous, hidden Cold War-style villains (Putin) to the point where her own life was endangered by her bravery. It was a sad joke, a depressing spectacle of psycho-drama, but one that could have had grave consequences for the person she voluntarily ratted out to the FBI.

“Idiot bureaucrat sits and thinks “I have an idea. Therefore, given my authority, the idea is a good idea.”” That is exactly the problem. They have forgotten that their authority is given, and in many cases, they are almost correct.

I’m quite sure his wood has shriveled, dried up, and broken off by now.

Could someone take a look at this and tell me if this is Bill Gates, back in 2005, describing a vaccine that can eliminate “religious fanaticism?” Very weird… sounds just like that boyish high-pitched squeaky voice but the video is a little blurry. Just wondering. https://tinyurl.com/yac97cxe

    Not Gates.
Mug is diff, and voice is a little off.
    But a very good facsimile.

    Anon,

You must be an adolescent. Ron Jeremy is eight years younger than I am, and I assure you mine has shown no signs of shriveling, drying up, or breaking off.

    Mythology 101

“They have forgotten that their authority is given, and in many cases, they are almost correct.”

No. The above statement is a false presumption. Authority is a myth. (Google: ‘authority is a myth’)

Who has the “authority” to delegate “authority” to someone else? No one, does. I did not give any authority to the commie Mayor to fence off the beach from anyone. This is an easy truism to grasp if one is willing to throw off the carpet of lies/propaganda we were all smothered with from grade K and onward. Government has no authority to do anything to anyone. Government takes what it wants as do thieves and pick-pockets. The ballot box is not a goodie box of authority to any government creep. They assume authority and we the people do not stop them.

Do the police, police themselves? Hell no.

“The duty of a patriot is to protect his country from its government.” – Thomas Paine

Where are the patriots? Most likely they are watching TV and being brain washed to obey the tyrants who have assumed “authority” to do anything they want. ANYTHING.

Is there a fence in place to protect the sea from, you. Tear it down and call the ass-hats with the gestapo uniforms bluff.

“I have an idea. Therefore, given my authority, the idea is a good idea.”
A parallel to what I call the “Do something!” fallacy:
    1. Something must be done!
    2. This is something.
    3. Therefore, this must be done!
