Old: “You didn’t build that.” (B. Hussein Obama)
New: “We paid for it.” (Unwashed scumbag)
    Pathetic.

.22 long rifle, from the roof tops, with an escape route. Not just one person but from every roof top. Not indiscriminately, but for the arsonist, looters and assaulters.

    Anon…. and silenced.

    “Why did we deserve it?”
In the USSR, Party members signed death warrants for “enemies of the people” knowing that the accused were innocent, but believing in the correctness of the charges. In the 1930s,collective guilt justified murdering millions of Russian peasants. As cited by Robert Conquest in The Harvest of Sorrow (p. 143), the state’s view of this class was, “not one of them was guilty of anything; but they belonged to a class that was guilty of everything.”

Also, “deserve’s got nothing to do with it.”

“for the arsonist, looters and assaulters.” AKA, target rich area.

Damn, that sounds like some darn good fun! And, I have a very well tuned .22LR rifle with scope. Could be like a carnival shoot with much improved chances of winning the big stuffed Teddy Bear for my girl friend/wife Susie.

There should be a line forming for this night out of fun, fun, fun!

One of the hoodrat girls yelled “what about these black men not making it home to their families?” after the cretin attacked the old man. All I can say is what goes around comes around. Payback’s a bit*h”

It’s all fun n games until someone breaks out the 12 gauges, then the shit gets real.

Nothing separates the gurlz from the sissies like a good ol fashioned 12 gauge.

Any 5 year old can throw shit, or stab the shit out of somebody, or even (gasp) shoot a poodle gun.

Shooting a thousand rounds of 223 is childs play and can be done all day long by just about anyone between the ages of 5 and 90.
I’ll make it light on ya. Go shoot 200 rounds of say #8 shot in an hour and get back with me…..Hell, lets go real light, make it 100 rounds.

Still, the next day you’ll swear god hisself kicked your sorry ass.

    You’ve been warned….and advised.

@ghostsniper: I gained respect for the 12-gauge many years ago when I was shooting out on BLM land in the Mojave Desert. Took aim at a rusty abandoned car and *literally* blew its door off with a load of 00 buckshot.

WTAF relevance does the recoil of a short-term piece like a shotgun have except to puff up ghost’s ego? There are a few tactical considerations that occasionally make a shotgun a good choice but range and magazine capacity limitations do not really commend them in many/ most situations.

And then someone steps up and reinforces my point by showing his ignorance of the topic. wunnerful

At close ranges, say under 50-60 yards, a .22 long rifle round, plowing into the face, the back or temple of the skull, neck/throat and possibly the heart/lung, unless the perp is a fatty where penetration is limited, will work nicely but the shooter has to be accurate because those are small target areas. A painful and slow death is very likely but if I had to use that weapon I wouldn’t want to kill them. I’d want to do enough damage that the target was either a paraplegic or highly disfigured and soundly mentally impaired POS that someone in his family had to take care of for the rest of his life.

In regard to the venerable .22 in the rimfires, I’d rather use the .22 Magnum. That little sweetie has no recoil at all but it’s a .22 LR on steroids and it will quadruple the results that you’d get from a .22 LR and its range is easily twice that of the former. And the damage….oh the damage it will do to a perp.

Up from that round is the sweet shooting .22 Hornet which, along with the .257 Roberts, are my favorite deer cartridges. Some gun writers distain the Hornet because, they claim, it’s not accurate but I know better. With hand loads both of my Hornets will easily shoot dime sized groups at 100 yards and with careful bullet placement will kill deer out to 200, although in the timber, where I hunt, shots are usually under 100 yards. With factory ammunition the groups open up a little but I’ll tell ya, not very much and still with plenty of accuracy to flatten whatever domestic you’re attempting to hit.

We are closing in on time with these people though and if the situation ever requires it I will shoot many, many times over the legal limit.

Well Jack, in any consideration about ammo these days one has to realize the supply is short and getting shorter everyday. Was just at Rural King yesterday, where I have purchased 1000’s of various rounds in the past buy now their inventory is very limited. No .22, 9mm, 5.56, 223 at all. Plenty of 12ga standard birdshot (#8) in all the common brands was in the $5-$6 range per box of 25. I hate walking out of gun stores empty handed so I bought 20 boxes of Federals and 20 more of Winchester.

This morning on ammoseek.com 556 was going for 60 cents per trigger pull. The priceyest I have ever seen. Gonna look into reloading.
