Noted in Passing: Louis Rossman has a few choice words for New York’s perverted mayor DeBlasio

Rossman is a small-businessman in New York City who must deal with the vile mayor and his perverted family and administration. The latest from the “Mayor” is an edict that every business in the city must have all its employees vaccinated or fire those that refuse. As Rossman succinctly puts it, this latest from the satanic mills of the communist mayor is going to be another “gigantic clusterfuck.”

Hopefully, anyone who takes the job of checking vaccine compliance in New York City will get a rapid promotion to the bottom of the East River. Hopefully, the DeBlasios will join them.

… protesters against [vaccine] mandates, in front of the private property of NYC Mayor Bill Deblasio.

DeNazio lives in Park Slope Brooklyn, which has always been a fairly progressive neighborhood. I think he has two adjacent townhouses on 7th street (?); I’ve read that he’s renting them out for $100,000 per year. I wonder who’s paying that much for those houses, it seems way overpriced. Some sort of camouflaged payoff or bribe??

      correction: 442 11th Street, between 6th & 7th Avenues.

So yet another New Yorker complains about the government of his city. Not that I blame him at all. And if every New York progressive got “a rapid promotion to the bottom of the East River” that river would overflow its banks. At least then the waters might wash away the garbage, rats and human feces that are all marks of what New Yorkers call their “civilization”. Think Hercules and the Augean Stables.

In his defense, Rossman is in the middle of moving his business out of the city and the state… as well as his home. I don’t have a lot of information about the mechanics of it but it seems he’s trying to figure out how to relocate all the people who work for him in New York City and not just himself.

      • Mike Austin December 9, 2021, 3:25 PM

I jumped the gun, lumping Rossman in with your standard New Yorker. He sounds like a good guy. I wish him well and hope he gets out of the Big Apple with his business and employees intact.

NYC in the 70’s was bad and unsafe; following decline in the late 60’s. 80’s and 90’s it was changing because the folks from the 40’s through 70’s were declining in number; as a result increasingly fewer individuals around to call out bad actors and stick up for strangers. … Never heard of Rossman and based on this rant he is the A–hole. … da bla is the worst Mayor since and worse than dinkins; and should not have even been certified given so few allegedly came out to vote (but who knows the reality of NYC Bd of Elections voter fraud). … There is so much else wrong with this rant, including his demographic/economic analyses and putting his stamp of approval on “vaxxs” which are not “vaccines”. … Gerard, this was not worthy of a repost by you.

    • Vanderleun December 9, 2021, 2:37 PM

I take your point, Sisu, and I understand why it is such a popular stance with the Pure Populist Party. In their realm they are welcome to it since, as we learned in the Holy Book of Tristram Shandy, “…so long as a man rides his Hobby-Horse peaceably and quietly along the King’s highway, and neither compels you or me to get up behind him,–pray, Sir, what have either you or I to do with it?” …. but that is in lodged firmly in the fundament of their own realm of rarified preening and this is not that realm.

At the same time, I do not require all views here to adhere to any rigid ideology at all. I loaf and I take my ease. I do not require those writing or ranting to perform for my personal beliefs. If I wanted a mirror I would not look into this screen. Here they are free to come and go and offer what observations or conversations they have within them. I require only that there is no lie in them. Not so the stultifying Pure Populist Party. That Party is one of constant allegiance rituals…rituals of dirty deeds done quick in the minds of the captured. Creating from this cauldron of spite a rank and file, a Party drone that is constantly constantly updating their political software so they will continue to lift dat barge and tote dat bail in servitude to The Party.

Any criticism of my As I Please stance I consider to be mere stuff, fluff, puff, and bluster. On this I am Imperturbe.

It is first and always your web/blog site. Nevertheless, you have expressed a “history” / “distance traveled” which includes (as I recall; I am not a “student” (nor will I ever be) of your past) living and working in NYC (mostly Manhattan, some Brooklyn). There are some who were born in NYC and refuse to run away simply because there is constant conflict with what one believes. The worst New Yorkers (Downstaters) / Manhattanites have always been those dregs from other states and the imitators of the “kid from Hoboken, try’n to make it there.” This POS rossman panders to those who are not and never will be NYers. … It’s your site. You’re the “editor”. I am just voicing my displeasure and disappointment.

Liberals and blacks elected DeNazio so they need to STFU and do what their master says.
White people have white privilege because they work their asses off and make good decisions.
Black people who work their asses off have black privilege too.
White and black people who don’t give a fuck don’t have any privilege but they get welfare.

When this whole covid shot thing began blacks were raising HELL because they thought that they would not be given the same rights to vaccines or given the same vaccines as whites because they were certain that the vaccine was designed for whites only and that they were being denied with the hope that the virus would wipe them out in droves.

There is no disproportionate impact libs. I see hundreds of blacks in the Deep South running up and down the roads in Cadillacs, fancy 4-wd trucks, BMW’s and every other expensive car that will roll. A huge number of them live in great homes and have fancy jobs. I don’t believe for a New York minute that blacks ain’t getting everything they want and when they want it. All they have to do is show up.

Every Lib: Go get your GD shot and keep your job or, gather together and hang DeBlasio from a long rope and let him swing right smack dab in the middle of Times Square.

    /\/\….
And, permit me to add: No one, any where is going to fire black employees unless they commit some felony that sends them to jail. If they do, it’s Lawsuit City and everyone with half of a brain knows and understands that. It’s also the reason that most small white owned businesses don’t want blacks working for them. Talk about disproportionate pay for performance….cogitate on that one or talk to a white manager.

Been following Rossman for about two years. First found him because he’s somewhat notorious for his rants about Apple and Right to Repair… but stayed for his views on life in NYC during Covid and his talks about how he runs his small business. A very genuine and hard-working guy who has tried multiple businesses and found his niche. More like him and fewer Cloud People would be great.

Oops that was my Rossman Encomium.

Be ever watchful. The politicians are testing the waters and trying to tighten the noose to force everyone to get jabbed. In my IL state district, our Dem rep, John Carroll, just floated a bill that would have denied insurance coverage of any costs for all unvaxxed who contract covid. This would have then opened the door for insurance companies to then require covid testing for all future procedures and if you tested positive (the tests notoriously have a lot of false positives), no payment for your procedure or medical needs. This idiot had so many complaints on his social media, protesters at his congressional office, angry phone calls and letters, that he withdrew the bill within one day. He pulled a Juicy Smallay and whined that he had to withdraw the bill after receiving violent threats and anti-Semitic slurs on social media- a total lie. We know that he was just the governor’s patsy to float this balloon out to see if anyone would notice. The crooks will simply bide their time and reintroduce the bill and vote to approve it in the dead of night, probably right before a holiday, as they usually do in IL. They make you buy health insurance for the good of your health, because they care about humanity, and then they want to deny you coverage if you don’t comply with their edicts and take the jab. Such compassion. Their caring is killing people.

What a cruel hoax having to live in NYC must be. You folks want the shot, please get it. We’re just not interested, chose to remain pure bloods, more importantly nobody is allowed to give me a jab or three ever. Some things are worth biting back over.

I suspect this hoax is run it’s course, I’m amused at the numbers still focused on exactly what MSM tells you to be.

Fuck them, go live love laugh, go find peace in gods most simplistic views, his wonderful gift to us all.

Been done with govt, for 30 years. Paying my taxes is just easier then not.

It’s only money, end of the day, keeps govt focused on chasing their own tails, not mine.

“Fuck them, go live love laugh, go find peace in gods most simplistic views, his wonderful gift to us all.”

Wise advice and I try to live by it. I fall down trying but then I get up again.

      • Mike Austin December 10, 2021, 1:11 PM

That’s it, is it not? To “get up again”. Every man reaches and falls, reaches and falls—but then he gets up and tries yet again. And again. And again. When he dies he is on his feet. No fall is a failure; it is a challenge, it is a strengthening. When a man rises up—no matter how many times he must do so—Angels cheer, and Christ smiles, gets out His pen, and writes you into the Book of Life.
