The popo pew-pewed 9 rounds. The three students only shot off five. I don’t know how many holes the perp had in him, but at least there was a backstop, the car. That’s what people say, CCW holders are less likely to use their firearms than police.
It’s an interesting situation. Would the perp, seeing four barrels pointed at him, give himself up? Or would he have tried to escape out the side?They would have had to stop shooting because they lost the backstop. They never really gave him enough time to make that decision. I guess once the first cop starting firing, the CCW students thought they should join in.
I can see why the bipocs would see this incident differently. Was there really a need to drop the perp right then and there, or could the four citizens have resolved this without firearm discharges. And what’s with nine from the cop? Isn’t the training two to center mass, one to the head, and then assess? Seems like somebody broke training from the adrenaline rush.

The numbers in his book have been gathered from ALL the police and sheriff departments in the US over a 20 year period. It’s worth taking a look. You’ll find out out how incompetent the LEO’s actually are.

It seems to me it isn’t how many rounds you shoot, but the goal is to stop the threat. The perp was violent, and had a head of steam. He wouldn’t have considered the backstop; he was just running to escape; fight, then flight.
