    Interesting imagery.

What you won’t see is any actual representation of Christ despite all the sound and fury. Instead you get the two older dispensations: The Old Gods (for those with a dollar’s worth of imagination) and (adopts Tevye pose) Tradition! (AKA The Law) in the form of Updated Arks up the wazoo needing very little imagination at all.

The words of the Prophet Peterson are true and inspiring. Just as well, him being a prophet and all. The thing is that this is a video. V i d e o. The words are there to be there. Most of the message, intended or not, is in the imagery. Granted that words are images here, too. So, one asks oneself, will this enlighten John Q Normie? I’m not so sure. Still when the words do manage to leak through it does make for a nice change from an E Michael Jones or a Dennis Prager doing the Logos LARP. Peterson does it better.

Now put his words to Copland’s Lincoln Portrait for extra credit.

Me, I prefer the Apostle John plain and unadulterated.

I need more of the Person of Jesus. Christ the Corporeal.

NotNutella, the visuals had me wandering to similarities and dissimilarities. Instead of the nature I’d have preferred maybe designs and Rembrandt’s Christ.

“Me, I prefer the Apostle John plain and unadulterated.”
      I very much agree. however…
Peterson is a new Christian. There’s no doubt that he has had his spiritual awakening on his mind for a long time. Given his study and wonderful intelligence concerning human nature and understanding coupled with his new perspective of Christian faith and praxis, I would not, even at this early time, ignore any of his wonderful insights.

Isn’t it the arc of the sun?
Vampire soul suckers don’t like the light.

“Christ is he who transcends death by accepting death.”

Which is an updated way of saying what we say at every service: “Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death…” And we have done so for almost 2,000 years.

    Peterson gets it.

I think the words of Paul, in 1 Corinthians 12:3, speak to where Jordan Peterson is in his journey to God.

Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

If you’ve never stumbled from the path, during your quest to God, you’re a better man than I.
