Random Acts of Kindness

Moving beyond all the cynical parodies and cliche-ridden analysis, it is always worth remembering that…

“And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.” — By Max Ehrmann © 1927

    Thanks for this, G.

This Lent as usual has been very painful, and I needed this a lot.

Thanks Gerard that was beautiful, especially the garbage men and the little kid who kissed them all.

Echoing Mr. De Witt’s sentiments I appreciate seeing examples of humanity replacing for a few moments the detritus we are force fed and the deviant that we are expected to accept.

    always loved this:
    “Be reconciled to God.
God mad him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
    2Cor, 5:20-21

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

The “unspotted” is spiritual, of course; sometimes helping those in affliction involves a lot of muck!
Great compilations of spontaneous acts of generosity and often flat-out heroism.
Nice to see so much toxic masculinity in action.
