The rest of the universe may not even be “there” anymore, since we see light that began its journey millions-billions-trillions years ago.

And outside the borders of the Universe or Polyverse is ? Do we need a wall so that Noneness doesn’t leak in? Do we exist in Noneness as Dumbness? If so, how would we know?

The universe is not an island in a sea nothingness. The universe is all there is, and is therefore, by definition, infinite in size, with an infinite number of galaxies, with each galaxy containing a black hole at its center containing an infinite number of galaxies each containing a black hole and so forth without end, and all contained in a space the size of a notional electron. What our telescopes show us is not what is. All is illusion with reality not only unobservable but unknowable.

Linear concepts cannot include a boundless anything, so which are we to dispose of? The linear thinking or the boundless?

You know what is neat about the “Law of Large Numbers”? It is that anything that CAN occur, WILL occur, and not only that, it will occur a shitload of times! But the Law of Really Mind-bogglingly Huge Fucking Numbers is even cooler: anything that can occurs will occur, and it will occur an INFINITE number of times! Well okay, ALMOST an infinite number of times…

I like that. It’s like saying “almost infinite” is pretty damn infinite even if not infinitely infinite.

As our perception of the ∞verse becomes ever-larger, a philosophical and teleological crisis is sneaking up on us. It’s a scale problem. In a ∞verse so wickedly vast beyond all kenning, what the heck are we?

Hence those who just give up and exclaim, “aww, we’re just living in a Matrix”.

How do you make the infinite more so?
