I’ve done some actual work on Gerard’s book, using a self-publishing platform. However, there’s still a steep and rather tedious learning curve there, and so I’m nowhere near finished although I have about a third of the content up. Even once all the content is there, I’ll need to do a lot of formatting and fine-tuning.
The current plan is to offer an e-book version and a hard copy print-on-demand version. The latter will, of course, be somewhat more expensive than the former. The book will probably contain between twenty and thirty of Gerard’s long-form mostly non-political essays, with pictures.
I can’t say when it will be ready, but at least I’m out of the starting gate. After the book is done, I plan to put out a second book, this time of Gerard’s poetry.
