A post shared by Joe Rogan (@joerogan)

Origin Story: After Rogan contracted Covid (aka ChineseCommunistBioWeapon), CNN wanted to emphasize that what he took (Ivermectin) was a horse dewormer used only on animals. They were caught in this lie and exposed by Rogan.  Now Rogan catches them in colorizing his selfie-video to enhance the lie that his medication made him deathly ill.

They did this to Steve Bannon also. I remember seeing photos of him at the White House looking like a zombie. In the old days any photo editor who did that would have been fired, publicly. Now they brag about it.

-the Time cover of OJ back when caught heat for darkening his likeness. I forget the guy’s name, Matt something, who edited it. lived nearby.

      tempest in a teapot, IIRC.

    Merchants of fake.
I interned at a famous tech mag in the nineties, and learned really quickly that the magazine existed to advertise. Not to inform, per se.

Once that sunk in, I understood the industry’s need for constant fabrication and spin. The business model requires lies, both small and large.

The lies are padded with truthie bits to make them palatable. Since lies are only swallowed if the liars demonstrate spates of honesty, a smart “news” channel will run an uncontroversial weather report, or car crash, or crime report, and then use this spine as a pintle to hinge the most egregious lies on.

It’s a multi-billion dollar industry that lies to us for money. And Americans sure consume a lot of it. Smart? No.

I remember my father, who was advertising manager, telling me that the newspaper our family owned was 80 percent advertising, 20 percent subscriptions and single copy sales, when it came to revenue.

Buck Owens, who owned a radio station in Bakersfield, pointed out that radio was in the advertising business, not the music business.

Now both industries are staggering from the loss of advertisers to the internet. The Star-Tribune of Minneapolis used to have over 100 pages of help wanted ads every Sunday. In 2001 it sold for a billion dollars. In 2009 it was bankrupt.

This is what they are left with when Rogan has perhaps 10x the viewership per podcast of any CNN dolt’s daily show. Between pedo hosts, and numbskulls, less than zero.

The way to approach Western media is recall how the Russian people approached their own media during the existence of the USSR. Pravda, TASS and Izvestia were the major sources of information. All were of course completely controlled by the Soviet regime. Nothing whatsoever came from them but what the Politburo wanted to come from them. Propaganda? Certainly? Useful? Certainly. The Russians became expert at “reading between the lines” of official Soviet propaganda to get at the reality behind them. No one—and I mean no one—took the Soviet media at face value. There was always some reason behind the stream of disinformation masquerading as the truth.

It is just the same here in the US. All the printed and electronic media do little more than ape the official Democrat Party line—and they have done this for decades now. There is no news anymore—if there ever really was. All “official” information—CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, The New York Times, the Washington Post and all secondary media sources–is controlled by those in power in Washington DC, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Their goal is not to inform but to disinform, to obscure, to cover up, to silence, to promote, to deny, to impugn, to slander, to accuse, to rabble-rouse. Their version of “reality” is entirely confected and mendacious, imaginary and absurd.

The trick is to discern the reasons behind that day’s “headlines”, “breaking news” and “special reports”. What is the real purpose for the media “lie of the day”? Finding this out takes a bit of practice, but anyone can master it. Consider the latest “news from CNN; it is laughable in the extreme:

“The West has a rare window to put Putin in his place.”

Go to the article and read it yourself. I broke out in laughter by the fifth paragraph. Our ruling elites are not trying to inform Americans at all; that article is really trying to inform Putin, to frighten him, to threaten him. Somehow I don’t think Putin is much concerned.

So go ahead and check in on the US media from time to time while understanding that everything they say is a lie. The Babylon Bee is funny because it know this, and mocks them. And the Democrats—like their masters—hate to be mocked.

Didn’t CNN do something like this to Condoleeza Rice?

    • Vanderleun January 9, 2022, 2:56 PM

Indeed they did. Just letting the OJ filter darken away every day. Does CNN fear colored folks?

Trump was lit in a sickly manner, and his microphone set to breath and pop, during debates with Hillary. I spoke with the guy who did the lighting, personally. He was bragging about having done it.

    • Mike Austin January 9, 2022, 6:43 AM

Such snarky tactics are truly childish, and show the mentality of those in media. They are like schoolgirls who sign up to work on their school yearbook so they can alter the entries of their enemies.

      • KCK January 9, 2022, 11:38 AM

You’re onto much more than you know. The whole piss and quiver show after Trump came to office, over his “meanness,” sounded exactly like high school president elections.

        • ghostsniper January 9, 2022, 6:14 PM

He never said HE grabbed them by the pussy.
He said, “….YOU can grab them by the pussy.”
          Notice the diff?
The first one means he was that type of person.
The second one means they were that type of women.
The media intentionally made it personal.

        • Mike Austin January 11, 2022, 7:23 AM

That’s what Twitter is: nothing but a bunch of soibois and schoolgirls tossing jabs at each other and snickering.

  • Sid V January 9, 2022, 5:25 AM

    ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.

    • Mike Austin January 10, 2022, 1:45 PM

No. Not nearly far enough. “Enemy of God. Lucifer’s servant.” There! Fixed it.

  • TeeRoy Jenkins January 9, 2022, 5:48 AM

This is nothing new (although still bullshit manipulative tactics) we see it in media everyday. If the presentation is positive the images selected will be the most flattering, if negative the reverse.

It’s the attempt to color a perspective. Which I have a problem with. My perspective is if your position is correct and truthful it doesn’t need any embellishing the truth is self evident. Same holds true for the progressive socialists and communists. If yer shit was so good, you wouldn’t have to “sell” it.

  • Nori January 9, 2022, 7:15 AM

It used to be called “yellow journalism”,but that’s probably considered racist in these enlightened times.
They’re soulless, heartless and they want us dead.
    Challenge accepted.

  • Richard January 9, 2022, 8:53 AM

Yet, despite no one wanting their lies and activism, these so-called journalists are just like drug-resistant clap – we can’t rid ourselves of them. I have no interest in anything “Biden”, nor of the socialists’ wet dream ‘build it back better”. Therefore, because I don’t actively keep up, the ensuing link is nearly two months old. In it, we learn that the US taxpayer is going to absorb a significant portion of the cost of keeping these serial liars employed. There’s a damn good reason newspapers are failing: no fair-minded, discerning reader wants anything to do with them. Just as losing concerns such as CNN and MSNBC are kept afloat by the basic package fees all cable subscribers pay, so, too, now we all get to pay the folks who are actively working to destroy us. What a sweet deal for them. Tass, Pravda, and Izvestia, indeed.
