All of which prompts me to say that — although I am certainly critical of a lot of current African-American ghetto culture (as I am of Cracker-America’s Breaking Bad / Oxycontin drug culture) — this nation would be impoverished without it.
What chops! We would have no jazz without black musical culture. Jazz is the summit of popular musical expression. How far we have fallen.
