Having spent two days powerless (Over 250 power lines down in the area and subsequent loss of electric, & I, of course, for one, blame it on global warming [Strange way to spell mismanagement.]), I’m just getting caught up on all the news that fits the narrative.
OK, as I don’t put my trust in princes nor CEOs, I did have some power, a backup generator not big enough to power the house 24/7 but quite suitable to keep necessities operative, and even occasionally fire up the computer, with judicious load switching.
A good reset may well be in the offing, with or without a high butcher’s bill, but meanwhile one needs be self reliant and prepared for most anything.
