Just damn. If I were her husband, we'd already be talking about what to say to that kid the day he becomes inclined to read old newspapers. I'd be more concerned about that than about the Downs', I think.
Well, some folks reach adulthood laboring under the delusion that all people are inherently virtuous. It would seem Trig will at least have the benefit of being forced to overcome that, relatively early on. At any rate, it would've been hard for him to pick a better family. I'm sure he'll do fine.

Y'know, if there is any karma in the world, there will be one thing the Palin candidacy will have done best: expose the left for the morally bankrupt hateful intolerant bigots they truly are.
In fact, even friends and family members have joined in the gratuitous character assassination of this accomplished woman and her family. Pathetic.
