It is raining again today in Africa.

The grass is singing, if you listen closely you can hear it; the earth is rejoicing.
Before the rains things are still: puffs of brown, a remaining dust girding itself for a final fight with the wetness – below the rolling dark of the clouds above. Then one by one the drops plunk into the brown, throwing up a tiny plume of dust. Then another, and another, and another still – a falling torrent. We have made it through the heat. - - Africa And The Peacemakers | Joel D. Hirst's Blog

Rain, I love it. Have you noticed how people walk in the rain with their heads down as if the rain hurts. WHY?
Hold up your head and walk as if the sun were shinning for the rain is nothing more than another manifestation of weather and is doesn't hurt.

People walk in the rain with their heads down because it ruins their maquillage.

From my limited time in South Africa near Mozambique I would say that rain would have merely changed it from hot and bug infested to hot, HUMID and bug infested.

Such a beautifully written piece deserves readership and more than a flippant comment. I denounce myself. Moral hazard is everywhere and we live in an Orwellian world where War is Peace. I don't know the answer.
