“Politically Unreliable.”

The 49-year-old German man, named Wolfgang P., had legally possessed more than 30 weapons for hunting,
but local authorities had revoked his license because he appeared increasingly unreliable, Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said. Now you see the benefits of a registration and “background check” regime — if you’re Joachim Herrmann Göring. (Sorry, we always run those two German police officials together). Turns out, it was the second attempted confiscation. The first time he just said no. - - “Confiscate This!” | WeaponsMan

Your Say

"Unreliable" is rather vague. So the guy has simply said "No, you cannot have my guns". I feel sorry for the poor sap that is asked to go back to confiscate his firearms as the owner may only be willing to give them up, barrel first.

Did the authorities elaborate on what was meant by calling the old boy "increasingly unreliable"?

Our government could use that when it chooses to come after our guns but out crafty bastards will certainly come up with even more vague and broad based.

I like what Charlie Daniels said the other day. In essence, he said the 2d A doesn't say anything about what caliber we can own, nor how many rounds of ammunition we can have. And what I always say is: the 2d A isn't about the what, it's about the who. The govt. does not have the privilege of telling us things about our guns. The 2d A is wholeheartedly and without equivocation a violet manifesto.

The Germans are always good for a laugh.

The 2nd isn't about the people.
It is ONLY about the gov't.
Burn that into your brain.

Hell, I have been increasingly unreliable for years. It's never kept me from shooting straight or getting the old lady pregnant, though.
