I think it's called gentrification. Or possibly some other really big word.

As an architectural designer I actually thought about this.

Maybe Trump will just go ahead and gut the place once and for all, out of his own pocket. You know, add a coupla floors, shit can all the afro-sheen infested furniture, get rid of all the old stuff, tear out some interior walls, open the place up, give it a more modern, up to date style. Maybe a touch of deco, brushed nickel and maple everywhere, a robust DCS kitchen, etc. I'll do all the design work and construction supervision for free. I can have the preliminary design completed by inaugeration day, construction drawings by easter, building permits by (wait, he'd Trump, no permits necessary) break ground by apr 15, completion and move in by labor day. Yeah, TRUMP style! A timeless design for the next 2 centuries. heh

He could also straighten out Pennsylvania Ave, and turn it into a runway for Air Force One so he could park it right in front of the White House. Save a lot of time.

I wish the Obamas well, but to save a little money, maybe they should take their next vacation at home in South Chicago.

The Obama's won't be hurting for money. He can start his speech tour making millions, of course. Yeah, he can move into that South Chicago house although with all the gangs sending out random flying bullets, he will need to install bulletproof glass.

Hillary and Slick Willie on the other hand, probably won't see another dime from foreign countries to their "foundation" since Hillary no longer has a chance at doing any quid pro quo favors. I wonder how many of those countries will want their money back? That foundation will have the appeal of a pound of green bologna.

I predict Huma will end up with some Wall Street gig.

Maybe Trump can axe for the bust of Winston Churchill back. That would be classy.

For all the crying snowflakes who didn't like the election outcome, I believe we should give them all voting participation trophies and tell them that they are really winners too. If that does not pacify them, then my only reply is "Election results have consequences".

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if the WH already has a firing range. I hear they already have a small bowling alley, gift shop, all kinds of stuff in the rather extensive basement level, which you don't see from above ground.

Personally, I'd be glad if Trump puts an unshredded copy of the Constitution on the wall of the Oval Office, replacing the shredded version that Barack keeps there now.

Speaking of guillotines, I mentioned to a friend in town yesterday that we need to build a guillotine on one the vacant lots on main street for effect and possible future use.

The vote in this county: Trump-3011, Clinton-733. I had no idea that the enemy of freedom had made such an inroad here.

My post was but pure sarcasm. It included the "bullet proof glass", and it included the growing murderous violence in South Chicago which Obama and his administration did nothing but encourage with its "white privilege" overt racism.

His and Moochells multi-million dollar tax funded vacations are finally coming to and end because, unlike Hillary and Bill, he has no potential power left to bribe with $500,000 speaking fees.

I'm fairly dense most of the time, but I caught your sarcasm. Matter of fact, I loved it! Your post kind of got me going... and going. Also, maybe you are right about Obama not having any big $$$ speaking opportunities. I certainly wouldn't pay to hear him.

I suspect all this diversity/multiculturalism nonsense is going to recede into the background and then disappear completely. Progress, when forced, becomes resisted. Children are fascinated by silliness and fantasy and avoid reality like the plague. Git off my lawn!

As long as getting something for nothing is lawful, the receivers will support their political patrons to the detriment of the taxpayers.

FYI, there is a range in the White House for the use of the Presidential Detail. They use it every day before coming on duty. There is also an armorer there for any and all needs.
