To the man I sat next to on the train: I am the gun owner you hate:

You obviously have strong opinions about this hot topic.
So, let me say this as plainly as I can: If a bad guy with a gun had decided to walk onto that train and start shooting people, I would have been prepared and able to use my gun to defend my own life and the lives of everyone else on that train, including yours. Although you may hate me, a gun owner, I would risk my life for you. - The Boston Globe

Your Say

People that openly proclaim to be against the ownership of private property reveal more about themselves than they are aware of.

If someone wants a consortium of bullies to remove my property from me what else does he want them to do?

Such a thing is cowardice supreme and it's as plain as the nose on their face.

See, it's because of them that I carry. Not only are the cowards but their genetic and nurtured flaws are rampant.

But their silly opinion is baseless and inconsequential because I carry a gun not for them but for me, and no law in the world will ever change that.

This is the only life I'll ever own so I will live it as I see fit and no one has any say about it at all.
