People HATE the Establishment, and there isn’t a font big enough to express the hate they feel for the Media wing of The Establishment.

So who is stupid, the guy who keeps getting suckered into voting for GOP candidates with conservative stances that only surface in an election year,
or the guy who has not always been conservative but is passionate enough about current issues to boldly voice his opinion and not back down now? It’s a gamble, but is it any more of a gamble than voting for the anointed candidate Jeb, who is fairly in line with the Left on key issues like immigration, and who can’t seem to display that he has any fight in him? Most comments I’ve seen about Trump support what he’s dong as a candidate more than the idea of him actually winning. Apparently our pundits can’t differentiate between the two. But we’re the stupid ones, huh? House of Eratosthenes

Your Say

I'd rather vote for a person with optimism, a love of America and a history of accomplishment on a grand scale, someone practiced in getting disparate interests to pull together in the same direction at the same time. That is, a guy like Donald Trump. His politics don't really matter, and they reflect a wide variety of American opinion anyway, so he's someone with potentially broad appeal. He doesn't need to pass some cynical and insincere political purity test.

What Trump doesn't personally know---Mr Hewitt---he'll acquire by gathering experts in their field and letting them do their job. He's an executive---a guy used to making panoramic strategic decisions based on the expertise of groups of people with specialized expertise---not a flabby political hack. In consequence, he's reaped the financial rewards. Those who complain that he's gone bankrupt more than once fail to mention that he's gotten back up on his feet more than once---it's what high achieving people do. Most people collapse like a wet rag in the face of a single failure. Trump's got character---a quality Ameruice used to have in abundance.

I'd be happy to vote for an executive, and I'll bet he'd do a great job as president.

Sure
Just like the 40+ before him.

It ain't the people.
It's the system.
It is based in criminality, and it permanently and negatively effects all that enter in to it.

Yes, even Trump.

Don't take my word for it, just search your memories, then watch.

Ghost, do you know of any country that has an acceptable system of government?

Perhaps you set your standards too high.
