2. They react to stress.

3. They practice facial expressions.

4. They cry. Silently.

5. They recognize nursery rhymes.

6. They also recognize songs.

7. They anticipate touch.

In other words, they live.

From the list above, it seems these little people, on the continuum of fetus to aged adult, are also alert and conscious in their mothers' limited body environment.
Hopefully, adult and umbilical cord stem cell research will obsolete black-market and other sources of fetus body parts.

Sounds that can affect them the rest of their lives.
