Giving Jeb the nomination neutralizes some of the best arguments against Hillary.She’s a relic from the 20th century? So is Jeb. She’s a longtime member of the political ruling class who thinks she’s entitled to the presidency because of her last name? So is Jeb. She supports an immigration policy that rewards lawbreakers and dilutes our cultural identity? So does Jeb. Is there anybody reading this stuff that still believes if only we had:

•Tea Party

•Donald Trump
•all of the above
•none of the above
that all our troubles would go away?
I am wondering exactly what it is that we will win? The ensuing months will tell the tale. All these pols we put in to take control of Congress, most of them got in because we were voting against Dems, not necessarily for them.
The numbers tell the tale. Jefferson: “A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”

On these very pages I defended voting for Romney, at length, and still stand by my reasonings at that time. Gerard was kind enough back then to highlight my rant in the left-hand column.
I ain't doing the same thing for Jeb.
