There was once a city called Crocodilopolis, where they worshiped the crocodile god Sobek.

Crocodilopolis was established on the Nile, southwest of Memphis, about 4,000BC.

The Egyptians called it Shedet (it was the Greeks who, wise to the city’s USP, gave it its snappy name), and it was possibly the most ancient city in ancient Egypt. It is now part of the modern city of Faiyum – which makes Faiyum possibly the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. But only possibly. What is the oldest city in the world?

Your Say

I bet they have a really big ghetto by now.

Over there it's all ghetto. Or was when I was traveling the area in the '60s. The mansions were planted right in the middle of it, surrounded by high, broken glass topped stone walls with heavy iron gates.

The cities of ancient Egypt were influenced by Kragon the Ruthless, Third Emperor of the Crustacean Dynasty, Lord of All That Walk Upon the Earth and Swim in the Waters.
From the ammonia-breathing planets of the Arachnid Galaxy, sent to Earth to gather the resources and enslave the peoples, Kragon and his forces lent to the building of the Pyramids, Mount Rushmore, The Panama Canal; were instrumental in the development of Kentucky Fried Chicken and decaf coffee.
The reasoning was that these developments served as distractions while the planet was being harvested. Early attempts to subjugate the peoples were abandoned when it was found that Earthlings were fragile and unstable.
The above notes were taken from archives at Roswell New Mexico.

See? Many people tremble at the mere mention of Kragon's name. A great hush descends wherever he travels, and piteous wailing and moaning, gnashing of teeth amid the ashes of once-happy dwellings can be heard into the night.
Shape shifters under his command infiltrate all aspects of life on this planet. If you can't get a garage door remote controller get a magnetic belt buckle. The only way to be warned against them.
