In 1731, King Frederick I of Sweden gave a lion he had killed to a taxidermist who had never seen a lion before. This was the result.

Unfortunately, much of taxidermy done by experts looks like this. I'm thankful mine is a talented artisan.

I believe "we had nothing to go by" is from Star Trek not Twilight Zone.
