The Progs hang their hate rhetoric and race card on any traditional Christian image they can defile, debase, or belittle.

Most middle eastern men born to Jewish parents in the middle east were very lite skinned.

Santa might be white, but Zwarte Piet the guy who did all the work was black. The elves are green, because all elves are green and have pointy ears.

I guess that is why both must be reformatted into persons of color , or white guys who have others do all the work.

Jesus is a Jew. Jews, unless they come from Ethi-freakin'-opia, are white too. Jews, throughout Biblical history are referred to as God's chosen people and a real Jew is a descendant of one of the 12 tribes. If you join or convert you can call yourself a Jew but in reality, you're not a real Jew.

Blacks….well, they're just black. The race originated in Africa and they have Kwanza and Juneteenth and all those other odd ball holidays that very few peeps, themselves included, actually celebrate.

The more I see how they develop and act, the more I'm beginning to believe that they were created by some alien race who used them to mine minerals in Africa until they just became too violent to manage and the aliens split. Any alien earthly visitation is probably little more than a brief visit to this human zoo to see how well it's going for the rest of us……..

I guess it depends on what your story is. If Santa is an elf, then he's not human so he could be bright green in whatever you imagine them to be. If he's the desperately awful corruption of Bishop Nicholas then he was what we'd call a Turk these days.

Bishop Nicholas was actually Greek, and lived during the 3rd Century. His see was in Myra (modern Demre in southern Turkey), but that remained a Greek area until the Seljuk and Ottoman conquests of the Middle Ages. Modern Turks trace their origins mostly to the Central Asian steppes, and are ethnically distinct from the ancient inhabitants of what is now Turkey.

But what race was the Krampus?

A little simplistic. Dravidian Indians (from the south of India and also part of Sri Lanka) are usually classified as Caucasians and calling them white might well be severely stretching a point, given that many of them are just about as dark as some African Blacks.

To be totally fair, anybody from Myra could have had family from anywhere. The only bodily characteristics that legend tells us about is St. Nick's good heart and good right hook.

St. Nick's face/skull reconstruction from his relics, OTOH, looks pretty much like a guy from the Byzantine/Greco-Roman melting pot: mostly Caucasian Greek and Italian and Middle Eastern, with a few bits of other stuff.
