2012? I thought the republican party died years ago. If the republican party went with the ideas of smaller government, less spending and more freedom they would win. Judging by the nominees the party nor the republican members seem to want that. The republican voters keep voting and will continue to vote for the shift to the left the party has taken.
Reagan talked a good talk but when he was in office as governor and president he grew government. The GOP has been down hill since Coolidge.
In reality the democrat-republican party still exists, it never split, you are just given the illusion of choice.

A more useful strategy is to focus on election integrity and overhauling the registration and purging system while they still have governors in various states to do it. Not that it would matter at this point.

The GOP dead?
The 'Hitler Rant Video' doesn't begin the story of the Democrats. Crunching the cyanide capsule while firing the pistol at the skull is what the Democrats did with ObamaCare, and they did not realize they were doing it. And they still follow those decrepit mummies Pelosi and Reid along the road to dusty death as they did in 2010.
Doing another 'Downfall' video with Reid as Goebbels shooting his wife as Nancy Pelosi and then shooting himself as the Leader destroys himself is more like it.
