Your Say

Guess which division at H-P keeps the company afloat?

Yes, the printer ink is very expensive. But that's because the printers are dirt-cheap. The industry's business model for consumer printers is to sell the printers at about cost and depend on ink/toner sales to make a profit. I'd feel pretty silly getting outraged over the price of toner after getting a complex printer almost free.

If you're anxious to save money, look for a printer setting that allows the printer to keep printing even after it has decided it is out of toner.

I tried printing with expensive perfumes, but it didn't work--couldn't smell the different letters.
