Dent Obama: "The Panama [Canal] is being widened so that these big supertankers can come in.Now, that will be finished in 2015. If we don't deepen our ports all along the Gulf--places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida--if we don't do that, those ships are going to go someplace else." There are major ports along the Gulf of Mexico, most notably the Port of South Louisiana and the Port of Houston. But Charleston, Savannah and Jacksonville are all on the Atlantic coast. Passed through the Panama Canal about 5 years ago with my wife on a cruse ship. The passage was about 12 hours with a nearly constant Panamanian broadcasting the highlights of the passage for the duration.
One thing he said has stuck with me: Panama will own the NEW CANAL but the USA is paying for the construction.

See I don't view this as evidence that President Obama is a dunce. Everyone, everywhere, in all times who has done any public speaking knows you make mistakes and say stuff that later makes you shake your head in disbelief. Everyone screws up, its a part of public speaking and being human.
My concern is that this was used as evidence that Bush (or insert any other Republican or right-leaning person) is a retard and its not even noticed when Obama does it. Its the injustice, not the mistake that concerns me.

I spent nearly a decade at an Ivy League University. This was in the 1960s and early '70s. He doesn't strike me as an Ivy Leager in the way almost all of my fellow students were: darn near everyone dropped hints about their Stellar SATs, GREs, GRADES, CLASS STANDINGS, etc. Hell I did it also. Bragging was de rigueur.
Obama has spent over a million dollars to keep his records under wraps. This not typical. I think he has something to hide. He probably is not really very smart.

I don't know smart or not, but my guess is his stuff is under wraps because it was 100% start to finish easy-A radical stuff like "communist studies" and "radicalism and Ayers doctrine."
And I bet he got Cs and Ds.
