Why ruin a good rope?

A good fire might be more appropriate.
"For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery." Job 15:34

"Why ruin a good rope?"

If the business got brisk enough (to the betterment of the economy and life in general) I would consider opening a rope factory to ensure the supply met the demand. Bulk and custom design orders accepted, of course. Ooooohhh!! And automatic push-button trap doors. And scaffolding. Man, the possibilities!!
