Seattle: $200 gift card for an assault weapon my ass!
People that had arrived to trade in their weapons for $100 or $200 BuyBack gift cards($100 for handguns, shotguns and rifles, and $200 for assault weapons)soon realized that gun collectors were there and paying top dollar for collectible firearms. So, as the line for the chump cards got longer and longer people began to jump ship and head over to the dealers.

This just proves that the Government agencies are the best sales forums. Where else can you pick up a M-4 for $600. And no paperwork.

The local ABC station ignored the Gun Show aspect of the story. That's like the old joke about a cub reporter who was sent to cover a society wedding. When he got back his editor asked him for his story, the cub replied,"No story Chief. The bride didn't show up so there was no wedding.".
The local Fox affiliate did cover the entire story.
