Perverts on Parade

Ladies and gentlemen, the face of Obama 2012, Jim Messina:
molester.jpg

That there’s Jim Messina, campaign manager for Obama 2012 and world creepiest ginger.
The idea belonged to deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter, though. I guess you were supposed to write something on your flesh that you like about the Obama administration, take a picture and post it to the Twitter hashtag #forall. That’s the kind of quirky, madcap kampaign kut-up that might have appealed to The Youth in 2008. No doubt that’s why these dweebs keep trying to float stuff like that. But the 2008 campaign was like the Blair Witch Project — interesting idea, only works once. You can’t run a “what the hell, let’s give the new guy a try” campaign second time around. Four years down the line, and it’s just sad. There you are, standing in front of a mirror with junk scribbled on your flesh in magic marker, looking every inch the kiddie-diddler. -- S. Your Say

Is that a framed photo of The Muppet Bert, of Bert & Ernie, on the top shelf behind him? I must agree with Mr. Weasel of sweasel.com that this person is "looking every inch the kiddie-diddler". Revulsion is the only word that comes to mind, besides projectile vomiting.

I'll bet if the camera wrre panned back a little more...

No. Even I/i> won't go there.

Messed that one up.

Hmm. Free for all comes to mind, in all of its meanings. And JWM, you can't mess this up any more than it is already messed up. I feel like calling whatever school is near the man's house and warning them not to let the tykes get to near Mr. "Hands" McFeely.

I can't tell if he is creepy looking or pansy looking. Maybe a combo of both, "Creensy"

"Peepy"? As in, "Peepy looking sort, isn't he?"

Posted by: Pournelle at September 22, 2012 8:09 AM

Whatever word is coined, and Mike is right, a face like that positively demands the creation of a new word to describe it, just imagine the body language and discomfort of all in the room every time Obama's campaign manager has the staff in for a meeting.

It's really hard to put some clever caption on this because the creep-out factor just redlines on its own. After giving it some thought:

I want to hit him with a stick.

is the best I can do.

This campaign has really pulled out the stops:

He looks like the creepy guy we are going to see when the death panels decide we've lived long enough and they need to save some money.

Sorry pink, you won't see anyone at that time, your decision will be made in some bureaucrat's office a thousand miles away from you.

Kiddie-diddler, indeed. This guy looks like he should be the keynote speaker at the next NAMBLA convention. The "stick" I'd choose to hit this creep would be white ash wood, 32-33 inches long, and expertly crafted by the good folks at Louisville Slugger.

Messina looks like Bozo the Clown. Scary!

So Howdy Doody and Ted Koppel had a secret love child?

He's got an amazing resemblance to Jared Lee Loughner:
