Human capability peaked before 1975 and has since declined

This may sound bizarre or just plain false, but the argument is simple.
That landing of men on the moon and bringing them back alive was the supreme achievement of human capability, the most difficult problem ever solved by humans. 40 years ago we could do it – repeatedly – but since then we have *not* been to the moon, and I suggest the real reason we have not been to the moon since 1972 is that we cannot any longer do it. Humans have lost the capability. -- Bruce Charlton

So we can’t go back to the moon but we just landing on Mars?

We landed Viking on Mars in 1976.

The Moon landing was a trivial exercise in tin cans and vacuum hoses. Try something really hard like undoing the damage that socialism has done.

The decline, of course, affects our priorities:

President Obama told NASA administrator Charles Bolden that his highest priority should be "to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering." Sadly it's all downhill from here. Take a look at what's happening with the upgrade to the SF Bay Bridge. Awash in graft and corruption, 85 QC inspectors in China to oversee the components being made. A Cal-Trans inspector fired for falsifying test data and now questions arising about other tests. And it took longer to get approval for the project than it took to design and build the original. Shameful.

If there are problems, then look to the encroachment of always incompetent government. If you'd like an example of the march of mankind... look at the price of a decent bottle of wine these days. They're damned near giving great stuff away... if your state doesn't tax it to death.

The capability's there, we just don't have a reason for it. Hell, we didn't have a reason in 1969, only an excuse. Believe me, if our only reliable source of strategic materials was the Moon, we'd have a Lunar population in the tens of thousands by now.

We never went to the moon.

Each year that passes without a supposed return to the moon enforces the above claim.

Doubters to this, pursue the story oneself. If one seeks the truth on the matter the anomalies of the story will overwhelm the belief in the Moon Hoax.
