That's very funny. But seriously, people will do anything for increased auto safety except stop following so close, speeding, living in the left lane, multi-tasking, or playing with the phone. They'll even buy an exorbitant SUV for safety, but they won't curb any of the previous activities.

90% of your safety is based on what you do. It's not a feature or an additive. Driving is the most dangerous thing people do in a life and they only use the tiny bit of their brain left over after they do everything else while they drive.

Ask any truck driver that watches cars driving around him for a living. It's a wonder anyone is alive after driving in a car. Car drivers live to drive again mostly by accident, not skill or attention.
