Hey, this is the same guy who told foreign diplomats -- through an intermediary -- that the U.S. nuclear arsenal "belonged to him," which was why he could revive the START treaty at his whim.

I suspect that he meant "on the behalf of Americans such as me" when he said that. Poorly worded, but not what some folks are saying.

What our Imperial President seems to forget is that those "soldiers, airmen and marines" take an oath not to him, but to the Constitution.
You'd think that a former Constitutional Law professor lecturer would know something like this.

I agree with Christopher Taylor. I was pissed, being retired military. But, I'm not inclined to give him a pass since he spends so much time in the first person singular, this was a mistake he almost had to make. He could have said "...our behalf", and things would have been OK.
