Fair Warning: Am Yisrael Chai, veNetzach Yisrael Lo Yeshaker

PM Netanyahu's Speech at Holocaust Remembrance Day: "I will continue to speak the truth to the world, but first and foremost I must speak it to my own people. I know that my people are strong enough to hear the truth.

"The truth is that a nuclear-armed Iran is an existential threat of the State of Israel.

"The truth is that a nuclear-armed Iran is an political threat to other countries throughout the region and a grave threat to the world peace.

"The truth is that Iran must be stopped from obtaining nuclear weapons.

"It is the duty of the whole world, but above and beyond, it is OUR duty."

Your Say

Bibi, come on already, start bombing. What are you waiting for? Constantly chattering on about existential threats to ramp up fear. Start shooting, we are tired of hearing it and of your threats. How many Israeli ground troops will enter Iran for the fight that follows? Not too many? How much American blood and treasure will be spent this time?

Fair enough! Do It

The Iranians already know if/when they are going to start a nuclear war. The Pakistanis are hiding their nukes from US verification. They aren't doing this to make a more peaceful world but to protect their future use of their nukes.

We have thousands of nukes sitting in warehouse "rusting" while we wait to respond to the coming Islamic nuclear war. God damn the people that wait for this to happen. Our enemies know we could melt them in an afternoon, and we haven't the will to win. There will be a nuclear war and we wait for it to start unexpectedly. That's evil.

Yes, well, Tocqueville wrote that there are two things democracies have great difficulty with; starting a war and ending one.

The unspoken hitch in the expected Israeli war with Iran is that if Israel is going to finally unleash, they want to do it once and by no means can that limit them to Iran. One and done, or eternal war until their number comes up.
