Our nation is not radically divided on any issue let alone those of a fundamental philosophical nature. Most of us are Americans and haven't changed a damn bit since 1776. The only real divide is between us and those that "report" how we feel or should feel and those elected to act upon our common demands that they never really hear. They are the dividers and they need to go away one way or another.

That pesky 1st Amendment puts a stop to shutting down the news medium.

HOWEVER, I cannot find Constitutional proscriptions addressing the citizenry ability to hang the bastards.
