How much is Sister Carol Keehan worth to the pro-Obamacare Catholic Health Association? Answer: $962,467.Who knew that lobbying for the corporal works of mercy paid so well? Of course, the dirty little secret of secularized "non-profit" Catholic hospitals is that they rake in enormous profits. Hence, some of its executives garner salaries/benefits north of $9 million. The term "non-profit" is an IRS misnomer of the first order. It does not mean that the organization never makes a profit. In truth, it is more of a marketing label for those who recoil at the word "profit" so they can feel good about their support.

Sister Carol Keehan does NOT speak for the Catholic Church. Only the bishops, or their spokespersons, can do that.
Obama and his ilk may claim that the Catholic Church supports his edict that the Church must pay for contraceptives, and point to Sister Keehan as examples that the Church agrees. However, if the bishops don't agree, the Church does not agree.
Personally, if I were a bishop Kathleen Sebelius, or Nancy Pelosi, or many other Democrats in the government, I would have excommunicated them long ago.
