GE Filed 57,000-Page Tax Return, Paid No Taxes on $14 Billion in Profits The return, which was filed electronically, would have been 19 feet high if printed out and stacked.

They audit that return all right. Dozens of IRS agents audit GE's returns every day, all year long, forever. Same for most all megacorporations. They provide office space for the federals as well.

Most likely. They have a boatload of losses from the 2008 crash. Further a lot of their profits are overseas and not taxed until the cash is brought home.

To be consistent we should thank GE for using all those lawyers and accountants to keep money out of the government's maws.
