Re: Repackaging

Now the reactionary, illiberal left has repackaged itself as “progressive,”
when the very nature of leftist assumptions prevents genuine integral progress (soul-body-spirit). Because they are bound to the horizontal and “live by day,” the best they can hope to do is to regenerate themselves via their own products. Horizontality feeds upon horizontality, leading to a state of severe spiritual malnourishment, a kind of ontologically "weightless monkey" who subsists on his own excrement (once he attains tenure or is admitted to the MSM). -- One Cʘsmos: History and How it Gets that Way, Part One

Your Say

And where there is no good vs. evil, only the horizontal vs everything else. Just try reasoning with them.

The rebranding to "progressive" is to me a strange and stupid move by liberals; but then, I'm assuming that people in general even know what progressives are or were. They don't. If people did know, they'd run screaming from the progressives as much as they would from scientologists and other creepy cults.

You can't reason with them. You can mock them. Once you take the weapon of guilt-tripping away from them, they haven't anything left in their arsenholes. They can legislate reality, but can't enforce fantasy, unless we let them.

They are trying to enforce fantasy. And it's all the more easy when our kids are so easily indoctrinated. The best hope we have is the free flow of information.
