“The Mode”

You know, the women-mode…
the one where you have to do something all over again, because she’s just let you know in no uncertain terms that you botched it good. But you don’t exactly feel like jumping right into it because with the mode she’s in, the verdict will come down that you botched it again, and how you did it & re-did it, you have the feeling it isn’t going to factor in to things too much. The Mode will decide everything, and at the moment it is not working in your favor. -- Morgan @ House of Eratosthenes [ who will now be executed because he knows too much.]

Your Say

The Iron Law of female happiness: "The most certain way to make a woman unhappy is to do what she says she wants you to do." If she's asking you to do something she is already disappointed you've allowed your mind reading skills to atrophy to the point she must direct you.

Women are emotional animals. The emotional centers of her brain aren't just one hemisphere in her brain. Her emotions are more like the face-latching, neck-wrapping creature from the movie Alien. Once that alien goes to sleep she can use her rational mind until something wakes up the alien. Don't wake up the alien.

I was NOT placed on Earth to make any woman happy. Her happiness is her job as mine is mine.

There are certain roles the man fills in the home, others the woman fills, then it's beer and poker in the garage for the man and whatever touchy-feely female get-together she desires.

I don't read minds, if you can't tell me what's going on I'm going on to my next item. Unhappy, have a nice snit!

The problems we face today are a result of a coalescing of genders in to a spayed/neutered mess of confused emotions. The so-called nuclear family detonated.

Don't tell me it doesn't work; 30 years of co-habitation and heading for 40.
