The Republican Party does not live to represent the country class.

For it to do so, it would have to become principles-based, as it has not been since the mid-1860s.

The few who tried to make it so the party treated as rebels: Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan. The party helped defeat Goldwater. When it failed to stop Reagan, it saddled his and subsequent Republican administrations with establishmentarians who, under the Bush family, repudiated Reagan's principles as much as they could. Barack Obama exaggerated in charging that Republicans had driven the country "into the ditch" all alone. But they had a hand in it. Few Republican voters, never mind the larger country class, have confidence that the party is on their side. -- The American Spectator : America's Ruling Class -- And the Perils of Revolution By Angelo M. There is a thread of truth in this, but political power in this country is a two-horse race. This is a fact built into how every county board of election is run in this nation. There is no home for conservatives among the democrats. What is the option... to join the idiot libertarians and their futile third party voting? That is the foolish option that leads to Clintons and Obamas.

Politics is a game of incremental victory. One never gets all of what one desires. Key to our victory was recognized by Reagan. One must unite the Social, Fiscal, and National Security Conservatives to have a majority. The alternative is to lose to the eternally self-interested.

RNC: "Resistance is futile."

Grassroots: "So long, and thanks for all the fish."
