"Going Egypt" - I have a feeling that's going to stick.

The Bamster would be the first to call out the thugs police to quell the citizens. The MSM would then have something to report.

Sometimes it's worth getting your grape busted. I'm in.

Hell, I never thought a Republican congress would happen in my lifetime, then came 1994. Most people don't know that there was a net migration from the Colonies after the Revolution. All those Tories knew that it would be unwise to stay. Alas, Bush the elder didn't have the stomach for it after the cold war. Had he, we wouldn't be in our present straightened circumstance.

Bush the Elder killed Reaganism. One of the biggest lies in recent years is that "Reaganism" is at the root of our financial debacle. Complete nonsense. A very stunted version of Reaganism existed for only half a dozen years (with a Democrat majority trying to constantly bring it down) -- just enough to kill inflation and give us a shove towards the longest sustained prosperity in our nation's history.

I thought it was just me, but I did notice that Reaganism was dead-in-the-water early into his second term. But now, that's all down the memory hole along with the mantra "12 years of Reagan-Bush" that we heard all through the dark Clinton years.
