Gosnell; Baby Feet Kick the Nation

Well, the story of Kermit Gosnell is about abortion; it’s about abortion in America.
And abortion in America is about a mindset, — even (or especially) among regulation-happy folk who will make a big noise about public safety on issues large and small — that will protect a Gosnell, and purposely turn a blind eye to abortion centers and practitioners and all of their lapses and illegalities, as long as the abortions keep on coming. If that were not true, if the blind eye were not being turned, don’t you think someone — before now — would have seen and been disgusted by Kermit Gosnell’s collection of severed baby feet? -- | The Anchoress

Sweet Jesus, that's ghastly. It just keeps getting worse, doesn't it?

In my opinion, the unavoidable responsibility of every normal person is to immerse themselves in the details of this horror story, and never miss the opportunity to throw it in the face of every Right To Choose imbecile they encounter from now on. The tag line is that the only difference between Gosnell and Planned Parenthood is that he didn't have as large an advertising budget; the results are identical.

My God, this is heartbreaking, and enraging.

Conversely, we could bring it up and see if the "pro-woman" choicers give a damn about the women and girls who were endangered and killed by this man.

At least that would allow us to distinguish the consistent folks from the inconsistent ones.

I know I'm not the only one who's noticed that most of the most ardent "pro-choice" people are also ardent opponents of capital punishment.

Killing the innocent, whether babies or "inconvenient," "non-productive" seniors is OK, but multiple-murder torture-rapists must live out their days at taxpayer expense.

Also, note the sudden interest in "productivity" in these cases from a bunch who are also in favor of stifling American productivity in every way they can.

The only thing that will produce is a revival of the term "Merely collateral damage."

Trust me on this one.

Pro-choice to me, always meant you took responsibility prior to having sex so you wouldn't have to face the consequences. The Gosnell story is about murder. Nothing pro choice about it. There are always extenuating circumstances that a woman might find herself in, but that would be between her conscience and the doctor to figure out the solution.

The guy had a collection of severed baby feet?

Seriously?

Was Anchoress making that up?

I'll go read and report back.

Jesus.

Anchoress wasn't making it up. It's in the DA report she links to. Severed baby feet (search on "feet" in the PDF file of the report).
