William Frank Buckley Junior is the greatest human being to walk to face of the Earth since Jesus Christ.

Buckley had the haught, elitism, and peerless IQ to do whatever he wished to do. What he did was try to didact and offer his rightness, day in and out, to us. To me. And I know he didn't have to or even know why he did at all times.

He took the shit. The shit that comes with being a man, and the shit that comes with being the man. The shit that comes with being born rich. And Catholic.

He made this world, ours, of shit in many ways, Godly and clean, as best as he could; and it was better than almost any ever.

As much a prophet as I could imagine, Sarah Palin fills my heart with joy. William F. Buckley, in my estimation, would rejoice at Sarah Palin's connection to the voters.

OK fort, I'm about as big of a Buckley buff as there is. On a personal level, I get the connection between sailing and riding, both evoke that emotional response to freedom from everything, and connection to God. I'm not so sure about Sarah. I find Perry's "Adios Mofo" comment more Buckleyesque, and to my liking.
