I am beyond astonished - I am frankly turned (almost) speechless - that there are SO MANY people who have the view that it would it be somehow insulting to Terry to err on the side of her life, as if they're afraid that after she recovers she'll be angry that they didn't let her die and, thus, that's why no attempts towards her recovery from maladies that haven't even been allowed to be fully diagnosed should be made.

Maybe it's the bible-thumper in me, but I find it impossible not to see similarities between our insensitive, insane culture and pre-flood Noah's.
