It turns out Biden said he’d mandate the vax via penalties on these companies, and yet here we are whatever many days hence and he has not had a law enacted, nor is it even a sure thing that he has the authorities he seeks in these laws. What MTG is saying to these corporations is that they are now in legal jeopardy for firing their employees under this shitty stupid pretext of a “mandate”.

As for any “vax mandate”: Issuing such a diktat is one thing. Enforcing it is another. And if 100,000,000 refuse? Then what? Certainly private enterprise can be used as a tool of enforcement, but that eventually runs into mischief when the enterprise cannot maintain its business model if millions of productive workers up and leave. Workers in banks, legal firms, insurance companies and their like cannot replace these workers with aliens who have not yet mastered the delicate art of hand washing after defecation.
