Word Around the Net: Meet the New Rules. Same as the Old Rules

Right now, special prosecutor Meuller wants to interview President Trump about Russian collusion and whatever else he can come up with, as part of an investigation. So I have some suggestions (courtesy Sheryl Atkisson on Twitter) for how he should set up this interview. Here are the rules:

  1. An exoneration letter is drafted in advance.
  2. Immunity is given to top Trump aides (and they’re allowed to sit in on interview)
  3. The interview isn’t recorded.
  4. Lead official (Mueller) doesn’t attend.
  5. Interviewer’s family and boss has received large donations from Trump political friends.
  6. Prior to the interview, lead official meets privately on plane tarmac with Trump’s wife (to discuss grandchildren)
  7. Main interviewer has expressed disdain for Trump’s opponents, such as discussing an “insurance plan” with higher-ups to undermine them.
  8. As long as they believe Trump didn’t intend any harm, he’s let off the hook for any violations.

When the diarrheaic flow of this defective, dissolute detectiveness is finally stanched with a great constipating plug of stupidity, we will all rush to buy tickets to observe the floggings of the innocents and the promotions of the guilty.
The traitors and the master-haters will be rewarded with safe-state fiefdoms and thiefdoms from which to plunder the populace under new distortions of truth.
This will leave our foreign foes stupified but gratified, and our allies dismayed and mortified.
As for us, poor slobs, Hillaryarity will reign as robots are granted the vote.
And this is all the good news!
The bad news is, ahhh, but that you can imagine.

    I would agree to that.
And then arrest them all for treason followed by quick hangings.

I’ll pull on their dangling legs just to make sure.
