For Facebook & Twitter – Hate Is the Whole Point! | “Human beings do their nastiest, cruelest, foulest, stupidest work hyped up on fear and its distillates. No wonder America’s political enemies find Twitter such a gift: fear makes Americans turn on one another. Twitter runs on angry fear, and it stinks of the stuff, inside and out.” We now know what these algorithms are doing to us – and yet we persist. Why? Because social media stimulates the same part of our minds as gambling does. Each of us are certain, absolutely convinced in fact that its the next tweet which will go viral, and we will be discovered; our next Facebook post will assure our place in history and we will have saved our democracy from them… Nonsense – but don’t tell the gambler that.

The avant-garde died of exposure.   It died by revealing itself to its enemies. It put itself to death by continually articulating itself within the discursive economy of the cultures it claimed to subvert. It buried itself alive in the very manifestoes, events, collages, poems, and assemblages in which it proposed to live a disruptive and utopian existence. It died by putting itself in a position where people like me can appropriate it. It died of discourse. It talked, wrote, and painted itself to death. — Paul Mann, MasocriticismThe Real Life of Doc Holliday – Wild West Legend that Continues to Fascinate

What’s at the Edge of the Universe?

Well, we don’t know — we can’t, we’d have to wait for the light being emitted there now to get here many, many billions of years in the future, and since the universe is expanding faster and faster, it probably won’t be able to make it here at all — but we can make a guess. On the largest scales, our universe looks pretty much the same in any direction we look. So odds are, if you were at the edge of our observable universe today, you would see a universe that looked more or less the same as ours — galaxies, big and small, in all directions. Thus a very good guess for what’s at the edge of the universe now is simply, more universe: more galaxies, more planets, maybe even more living things asking the same question.

How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, some afternoon that’s so deeply a part of your being that you can’t even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more. Perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless. — Paul Bowles, The Sheltering Sky

Progress in Play: Board Games and the Meaning of History –    And on the wall of Nefertari’s tomb, built in the twelfth or thirteenth century BCE, someone painted the queen playing Senet, one of three Ancient Egyptian board games whose pieces have come down to us, along with Mehen and Hounds and Jackals.

California’s Rendezvous With Reality   California’s 40 million residents depend on less than 1 percent of the state’s taxpayers to pay nearly half of the state income tax, which for California’s highest tier of earners tops out at the nation’s highest rate of 13.3 percent. In other words, California cannot afford to lose even a few thousand of its wealthiest individual taxpayers. But a new federal tax law now caps deductions for state and local taxes at $10,000 — a radical change that promises to cost many high-earning taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars.

The plain truth, however, is that women are utterly out of place in the military. Heather Mac Donald, in a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed, notes that, In September 2015 the Marine Corps released a study comparing the performance of gender-integrated and male-only infantry units in simulated combat. The all-male teams greatly outperformed the integrated teams, whether on shooting, surmounting obstacles or evacuating casualties. Female Marines were injured at more than six times the rate of men during preliminary training—unsurprising, since men’s higher testosterone levels produce stronger bones and muscles. Even the fittest women (which the study participants were) must work at maximal physical capacity when carrying a 100-pound pack or repeatedly loading heavy shells into a cannon.

The Case For Reparations Talk  Seriously discussing this helps break the conditioning that seems to keep the older generations in a daze as if they are drugged. The ascendant will never embrace the culture of American whites. They seek to drain the resources and power from whites, so they can dictate terms. This is not a competition they seek to win and then be generous to the vanquished. There is no generosity in their heart. We know this because there is no gratitude there either. For them, reparations are vengeance with a dollar sign.

The point of our project is to raise awareness and wake up as many whites as possible to the new reality of this age. This is an opportunity to do just that. To allow mindless civic nationalists to lapse into their programmed responses is a mistake. These normie whites need to be slapped across the face and one way to do that is to embrace the issue of reparations seriously and dispassionately. Ask the question, “What is the number that pays the debt in full?” The answer is another red pill.

The Twelve-Angled Stone “ Cusco, Peru –   Comprised of multiple massive stone blocks, the wall was built without the aid of mortar or any kind of binding material. Each block was cut to fit perfectly with every other surrounding block, requiring a painstaking amount of care and attention to detail. In fact, the joints of the wall are so precisely fashioned that even today, hundreds of years after it was first constructed, not even a single piece of paper can fit between any of the wall’s blocks.

Time to start shooting those Germans wholesale. Again. German Town Seizes Family’s Dog Over Unpaid Taxes, Sells It on eBay

A rat reacts while being stuck in a manhole cover in Bensheim-Auerbach, Germany, on February 24, 2019. The rat was later rescued by eight members of the Auerbach Volunteer Fire Department and released.

In the meantime, these Germans are the ones who let every man who has ever worn a towel on his head into Europe, the place now resembling Baghdad and Beirut much more than a European city ever did. If you don’t believe me, just go to any European train station and see for yourselves. They make Tijuana look like Stockholm before the Swedes joined the E.U. and turned into Beirut themselves. All News Is Bad News – Taki’s Magazine – Taki’s Magazine

    They stole her dog!

“She admitted that the seizure was legal…”

    There ya go.
To get to that point someone first had to steal her brain.

If someone asks you to shoot them in the face and it’s completely legal to do so, would you?
Nobody knows how to think any more.

I wrote six years ago about “The Infantry Woman Shortage,” which will be permanent no matter what rules and regs the nitwits in Washington put into place. “Women will continue to stay away in droves. Why? Because they are not idiots.”

Followup here: “Another blinding glimpse of the obvious — AP Exclusive: Few Army women want combat jobs.” Duh.

Bureaucrats are pod people, no matter what country they’re in. Rigid in thought and deed, Lois Lerners with even less charm.

It took 8 firemen to pop fat rat outta that manhole cover?
What did they do with it post-extraction? I hear there’s a family in another small German town who need a new pet. The state might let them keep this one.

A field mouse was trapped in our bathtub (we live very remotely, in a farmhouse surrounded by fields…and mice) and 3 of our cats were toying with it for I think a couple of hours. My wife and my daughter would not let me kill it; they wanted it released, and so I took the brave critter outside and released it. In the same week, a coyote was utterly destroyed at long range from the north porch. The circle of life, I guess.

Reparations? I’m all for that, but begin with the descendants of Civil War Union veterans. They carried the burden for righting slavery. Something tells me my suggestion would be a pin to the brain for the average SJW. Good that.

Wimmin in the military? Sh’yeah. If it does not enhance combat effectiveness (no bullshit about cultural advancement, now: think war) then I am all against it. Now my daughter will have to register for the draft, soon enough. That alone makes a normal father want to nut slap the nearest congress critter. Did you hear the part in Trump’s speech today about the 2 generals where one said the war needed 2 more years and the other said that the appropriate manner of action would take almost no time at all to obliterate the enemy. Trump wants Patton, and instead the pentagon is full of paper-hanging sonsabitches.

General Marshall did a top to bottom re-orientation of the armed forces, especially the army, going into WW II. He fired lardy generals, and advanced younger, meaner and smarter officers on a fast track. He implemented innovative force structures that the hide-bound military would not ever consider as necessary. And, George Marshall did not graduate from West Point.

Think, my friends. Piece things together. It’s why I read AD.

Eight volunteer firemen- excuse me, firepersons to rescue a rat.
I could have saved them some trouble.

“The Twelve-Angled Stone • Cusco, Peru”
I am a huge fan of extinct civilizations that left no continuations. Byzantine, Maya, Inca. A few years ago I was lucky enough to travel to Peru and tour many Inca sites. Of course we went to Machu Pichu, it is spectacular. But, Machu Pichu was just a vacation home for the Sapa Inca (Inca Emperor). Cusco was the Capitol. There are number of places in Cusco where the ashlar stone walls of the Inca still stand.

One of the most spectacular is the Coricancha, (a/k/a Koricancha, Qoricancha, or Qorikancha), which before the Conquistadors, was the Temple of the Sun. The Conquistadors, of course, stole all of the gold plating and statuary. And the structure was heavily damaged by the fighting during the Conquest. The wooden roof and superstructure of the temple burned during that episode. Later the Spanish built a church using the stone walls as its foundation. Major earthquakes severely damaged the church on several occasions, but the Inca walls stand undamaged to this day.

I should add that the Inca Empire was enormous. it ran for 2500 miles from Ecuador to the middle of Chile, and included modern Peru and Bolivia. It was assembled and run without the benefit of writing or of money.

    Next week, the Venetian Republic.

CK says, “Reparations? I’m all for that, but begin with the descendants of Civil War Union veterans.” Hear, hear. I had two great-great-grandfathers who volunteered for service in one of Pennsylvania’s German-speaking regiments. They were recent immigrants, too, but thought they owed their adopted country their loyalty for giving them a chance for a better life (farms of their own) than they would have had back in Niedersachsen.

I’d also like to ask Angela Merkel to fork over reparations for my dad’s combat stress fighting the Wehrmacht from North Africa to Ludwigslust (the German town where he was on V-E Day). He was far from the only vet whose postwar lifespan was shortened by his wartime experiences.

A cave man slammed a cave woman then dragged her by the hair to his lair and raped her repeatedly then told her to go make him a sandwich and a million years later I was born. That history triggered me and now I want some payback!

A small woods rat got in one of my workbench drawers in the shop. It some how pulled a bunch of insulation out of the wall and made a nice, comfy winter crib for itself. I took everything out of the drawer, leaving only the insulation, then I put in a mouse trap with a tasty smear of gouda. Next morning the smear was gone and trap was not tripped. Tricky. I installed a sticky trap and the next morning el mouse-o was snared. Right out to it’s funeral pyre in the burn barrel. Yesterday morning I looked in that drawer again and the now smearless trap had been tripped by mouse 2. It’s on the pyre. Put another sticky trap in the drawer. Haven’t looked in there yet today. I dislike killing stuff but when I have no choice…

When you put wimminz in the military it is no longer the military, but something else.
Male soldiers stop shooting weapons and shoot guns instead.
And everybody “feelz” good, cept the taxpayers.

Reparations? For those who demand them and believe that society owned them something for whatever happened to their ancestors that they cannot name or identify: No, No and Hell No.

Over 700K men from both sides, who had absolutely no investment in slavery one way or another, died to help end the practice and just like Jesus, those deaths paid the price for slavery. Blacks are a fatal pox on every civilization in which they exist. They invent nothing, they write little or nothing of value and they contribute even less to the unfortunate society that keeps them from the cradle to the grave. As life long wards of the State they’re too dull to understand anything related to personal success and they don’t really care as long as their cancerous culture provides them with its heepin’ helpin’s of despair. F the World, success with their culture is the goal and anyone who doesn’t like that path is a racist and a bigot.

But society should demand reparations from blacks for the degradation upon society for their refusal to engage in the society that is killing itself to educate and assist them and for their contributions of mass illegitimacy, for overcrowded prisons that bulge with low IQ violent thugs who will never be anything but what they are, for over crowded ghettos where the population grows more rapidly than that of the fat rat that was stuck in the manhole cover and who, like that rat, require the efforts of many to maintain each individual, for the daily episodes of violent crime on Any Street, USA and for their continuous non-stop bitching.

White Americans and other citizens don’t owe the negro a damned thing.

Casey, Years ago while living with an uncle in the sticks, we had mice all over. We’d shoot them in the house with a BB gun. Glue traps used by the train load. One mouse also got into the bathtub. I shooed him into a plastic grocery bag then too him outside. I swung the plastic bag a couple revolutions and stopped it abruptly onto the deck. Then a drop off at the burn pile.

Last coyote I engaged was dropped was at about 60-70 yards with a Stevens Favorite Rifle. I meowed like a cat and he came in. He stopped quartering toward me a moment too long.

My daughter had white rats as pets, but that thing stuck in the manhole cover is a sewer rat, carrier of pestilence.

My first thought for a solution was a pitching wedge. It’s easily cleaned.
