Persuasion Level Maximum: The Video Trump Showed to Kim at the Summit Meeting

Simply stunning as a “time for choosing.”  Kim is known to be a movie buff. This “trailer” from the White House’s “Destiny Pictures” shows how he can be the star in his own movie. Full screen and sound up to get the feeling and the drift.

And yes, there was a Korean Version.

HT: Scott Adams @ Episode 101: Video That President Trump Shared With Chairman Kim, Wow! – Dilbert Blog which I recommend highly for the commentary by Adams.

Very optimistic. Donald Trump the salesman and closer. This video is fantastic. What an opportunity for peace. President Trump doesn’t think out of the box he doesn’t know what a box is. My money is on Kim choosing the future in the video.

    No one saw this coming.

Did a right click and translate on the Korean comments on the video linked above. Most notable was the intense reaction to the lights coming on in the North at 2:40. You never exactly know what will grab people.

Quite a lot of vile crime and murder has to be pushed to the back. The assurance the President made of protecting the DPRK’s security is pretty much an assurance that the Kim regime will never face justice, a personal guarantee that the fat kid that executes relatives with anti-aircraft guns will die a comfortable death in his old age.

But it’s worth a shot, not so? What, as the man said, have we got to lose? Anybody up for another sixty years of this shit?

President Al Czervik. President Honey Badger. President Hold My Diet Coke. Has anyone conceived that a president might play this? Those now living will not see the like again in their lifetimes.

    Calming down now.

    “No one saw this coming.”
    ==================

    I did.
    And said so.
    The Art of the Deal.
    Expect bigger things.
In time yo’ll realize just how stifling this rotten assed gov’t has been on production, worldwide.
    Everybody suffers because of it.
    Even deniro.

So the choice is; Kim gets ‘punished’ for the many crimes he is responsible for, or Kim gets a deal and enjoys a long life (until he eats himself to death) protected by the US government until he inevitably leaves North Korean for greener pastures (and accepts the Nobel Peace Prize that DJT declines).

DJT is the POTUS, not the Lord God Almighty. Punishing sinners for their sins isn’t what he was hired to do. And he knows it. He can send the troops home and watch as a new market for American goods, especially food, is developed.

    Winning.

Democrat Media Control has decreed the word “Fake” must precede all references to the “movie trailer”, so that readers will know this is a creation of President Trump to be mocked, and not a sacred revelation from our moral superiors in Hollywood, to be worshipped.

As if on on cue the left is losing its collective mind over this, such as its mind is. The narrative is that China wins because the Norks join with the South and create a whole ‘nother something on China’s southern border. Apparently China not having invaded Taiwan means immediately invading the Korean peninsula the moment American boomers head back home to be turned into scrap. This, according to the left, is Putin’s doing.

Of course this also means that for reasons known only to itself and the American left, the lethal New Free Republic of Korea shall refuse to trade with China, while its Southern component somehow democratizes and westernizes the North, a move aligned with some strange mashup of capitalism and communism never before seen. According to the left’s thinking, China is screwed either by a hostile trade partner or its own rampant, historic predilection to attack cooperative trade partners.

Apparently the American left thinks Samsung has a Dalai Lama.

Anyway, it’s the left so as long as it opposes a guy with an R on his resume the particulars don’t matter. Psychotic rage matters.

Regarding the stuff that’s going to get swept under the rug (NORK internal gulags, death etc) Well, a lot of that happened when the USSR collapsed too. Better the future generations have an opportunity than the past ones get justice. In a perfect world both could be achieved, but last I checked, this world is less than perfect.
